I chose this course because of my interest in food technology. Here the faculty: student ratio is good about 1:5. All the faculty members here are PhD holders from IIT. The term exam is once in 3 months and is moderate level.

The internship is provided from 3rd year onward and it ranges from tech company to non-tech and a large opportunity is available on the campus. To get an internship we have to build projects with our batchmates Or with the help of our professor.

There is a great placement that starts this year with the highest being 45 LPA and the average being 12.38 LPA. A total of 77 companies visited our .campus last year and a large number of students were placed in it.

The Fees structure is affordable for an average Indian family and we get scholarships on basis of merit and family economy basis also. Some scholarships are FFA which are provided by the college. Thus we do have not to worry about fees.

The annual fest of nit Rourkela is nitrutsav and tech fest is innovasion and are conducted in the month of February and November. In nit Rourkela, there is a massive library containing all course books and also in addition to other books. Our institutions also promote sports and extracurricular activities and participate in many competitions. There are numerous clubs in nit Rourkela under SAC.

Here rooms are provided with sharing with one person for boys and 4 sharing for girls we have 4 boys hostel and 3 girls hostel. The messy food here is average. The hostel is of affordable pricing and also there is pg near the railway station which is 8 km far from the campus

The eligibility of this course is to clear jee mains exam. After that, you will get a seat in josaa and csab counselling and there u will be directed to the nit Rourkela website for registration. There is a reservation for sc, st, obc, gen ews.
