Course Curriculum Overview

I had chosen Computer engineering because I had quite good knowledge of coding as well as it's in high demand in the past few years and at present as well, the faculty of the college had a great knowledge of subjects and the syllabus covered overall in each field.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 154000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is normal like other colleges of around 1.5-1.6lac per annum. There were facilities like EBC and govt policies. Apart from that, we were given information about other scholarships as well which helped many students to ease down their load.

Campus Life

The campus is good especially the canteen the best place we like to go. They serve fresh food made on a spot at a minimal price. The infrastructure is nice with modern facilities required in every college. Maintenance is also taken under consideration very strictly.

Admission

The admission process was smooth, firstly when we get to college in the cap round we must visit the college. There they explained the fee structure and documents required for admission. We had bought a copy of each document so we got an instant admission receipt. After some days we got ID as well.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. i got in this college through mht cet and i wanted to go into tcet as it was near to my house and one of the main reason is placement.
