College Days

I was always fond of coding and to study about technology. BCA plus MCA provides me a platform to deeply study these topics and also helps us identify the current market. There are so many friendly faculties and students are also large in number. Mostly all the faculties have completed a double PG or have a doctorate. Everyone is well qualified. The exam timings are a bit late due to the COVID scenario. I have to attend my Semester 1 exams while my semester 3 was about to end. The exams aren't much difficult to pass. It just depends on how you study.

I've been offered a few internships from college. Like one from IIT Hyderabad along with a company for 2 months with a stipend of 10k a month. There are a lot of projects available and everyone is so helping to clarify every single doubt and task.

There are a total of 10 semesters in this particular course. Campus placements are provided from the 8th semester onwards. Almost 95 percent of the students get placed in every batch with good packages. The highest package offered is 10 lakhs PA and the average is 6.5 lakhs PA. I plan to work in an IT firm for 2 years and then continue with my self-made business.

There hasn't been a fee hike since I joined. The semester fee is 35000 per sem. There are plenty of scholarships given by the government and also the college is glad to support us in availing these benefits. I haven't completed my course yet so haven't received a job. I got the post-metric scholarship provided for minorities by the central government.

There are mainly two fests organized on campus. The first one was in January by the PG students called Shikhar and the other one was in April for the UG named Aroha. There are a lot of guide books as well as fiction, novels, etc. available in the college library. The classrooms are very neat along with projectors and air conditioning with good seating and other facilities. Sports is usually held in December of every year and a lot of other extracurricular activities like arts day and other celebrations are also held There are a large number of groups like music clubs, Literature clubs, code clubs, etc.
