The course lasts for 2 years with 4 semesters. The academics are associated with MG University and have a good curriculum. The faculty is experienced, with the majority holding doctoral degrees.
The internship facility of this university is very nice. Placement teachers and alumni provide training for this section to all the students.

Dislikes

The boys hostel is not in good condition because it doesnt have attached bathrooms and only has 2- and 4-sharing rooms. However, there is not enough space to accommodate 4 people in the rooms, and there are also no parking facilities available for the students vehicles

My wonderful college experience

Likes

The campus infrastructure is very cozy and homely. The garden, the basketball court, the open auditorium and various other helps us to get a relief from our college hassels and just have fun with our friends
The faculty is my next favourite aspect in the college. They are just so supportive and helps and guides us immensely through out our journey

Dislikes

One things I’d like my college to to is to help us financially or in the funding when the students from our college leave to other collleges for fests and other activities, this help from the college’s side would be really nice 👍🏻
Another thing is the lack of a badminton court here having that would also be very great

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this voirse as I've always had an interest to it since young age and when I heard that my dream college offered this course i rushed to book my seat here. The faculty teaches us very well and feeds us with information that is beyond our syllabus thus enhancing our over comprehension knowledge and skills. The teachers also involve other activities such as seminars and presentations which is to be prepared and presented by the students thius boosting our confidence. There are also field visits and add on courses to also enhance our knowledge beyond this course alone

Likes

the campus is a really good plpace for students to clear their mind and study
the faculties over there are very good and friendly

Dislikes

the teachers are way too strict and we need more freedom
there are exams very frequently and sometimes it increases stress

the placement cells are the best thing about the college. best companies come here and the students mainly choose this college in order to get the best working experience . the faculties here also trains us to be the best in interviews.

The corporate world of SCMS !

Likes

The faculty in the college is super friendly and we can interact with them and have a nice learning experience throughout the semester.
The campus is a one with sufficient greenery and space which provides the students with a positive mind which further improves thinking and learning caliber.

Dislikes

The strictness shown by the faculty is a bit too much considering the students are in college and they need more freedom than the school life they have completed.
The food for the hostel can be more improved as many students are quitting hostel due to the lack of quality of food and hygiene in the canteen.

Placement Experience:

The placement oppurtunities provided by scms is the most attractive feature of the e college. Degree graduates are getting placed in the topmost companies of India itself. There is hardwork included of course but students choose this college so as to experience the best job opportunities. From the fifth semester onwards campus placements start and companies will visit the college and chosen and deserving students get an opportunity for interviews in the best companies of india. EY and TCS are some of the best companies from which students get good placements. In the fifth semester itself 10 students aldready got placed and a lot more yet waiting. According to the offers made by these companies the annual package is 4 to 7 lakhs per annum which is nearly impossible for a degree graduate fresher. The students getting placed have good marks and percentages in subjects such as 75% and so on . I personally am waiting for a good placement and plan on getting into a good company after classes

The campus was good apart from that everything was okay.

There is a lack of placement activities at the college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Corse carriculam was quite okay. The teaching is according to the up to date syllabus and i found it okay. The timing of the exam was not in sequence with the syllabus most probably exam will come after three or four months after completing the syllabus.

How is SSTM?

Likes

SSTM has a enhancing atmosphere with good facilities and faculty members. The college has A++ in NAAC Accerdation.
The college provide a lot of placement for commerce and computer courses like B. Com, BBA, IMCA etc.

Dislikes

Even though the collage has his different sport teams, the college doesn't have a ground for football or a court for badminton
The bus stop or the metro station is a little bit longer from the campus hence have to walk to and fro to reach the stop or station

Course Curriculum Overview:

As a student who wished to study biotechnology, Scms of Institution of biotechnology has one of the best lab that provid with all necessary equipment and also provide with a dual core in botany which helps the student in specialisation in plant biotechnology in future courses. The course is assistant with the updated syllabus which is important for higher studies. The teachers also provide with guidance in both lab and theory and also helps in research development ideas. The exams are conducted by the MG university and hence are conducted under their surveillance in a systemic manner. If any of the exams are changed under any circumstances , the rescheduled date will be a bit longer

Likes

The college is equipped with all basic Infrastructure and they are well maintained.
The college have developed technologically very well throughout the years. They tend to take good efforts to make the campus more welcoming.

Dislikes

If youre someone looking for a cool college then i am afraid youre not at the right place.
Another thing you have to keep in mind is the attendance. If you want to survive here you better have 75% or more attendance

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculam is on to point. It good mostly evrything for an bachelor computer application degree. Could realy add something more but still what they got is actually good. The college follows the syllabus given by the Mahatma gandhi University in Kottayam. The university does provide a decent syllabus that do cover most the neccessary basics related my course.
