08 Oct, 2025 CAT 2025 Exam will be held on November 30, 2025 (Sunday) for MBA/ PGDM admission. The admit cards will be available for download @iimcat.ac.in from November 5, 2025. For latest updates, check here.

SSTM offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Among the BCA+MCA programs is its flagship course, and the tuition fee for the BCA+MCA first year is INR 37,500 Lakhs. SSTM admissions are based on marks obtained in the relevant entrance examination. Admission is merit-based for B.Com, B.Sc., B.A., Integrated BCA + MCA, and M.Sc. programs. For MBA and MCA, admission is based on both merit and entrance exams. Candidates seeking admission to the MBA must have passed the CAT/CMAT/KMAT exam. However, students can get admission through the management quota, based on their marks in the intermediate graduation. The MCA admissions are based on the rank obtained in the KEAM-MCA Entrance Test score.

SSTM Eligibility & Selection Criteria

BCA: Candidates must have passed the Plus Two or equivalent examination in the science stream.
BBA: Candidates must have passed Plus Two or an equivalent examination from a recognised University.
B.Com: Candidates must have passed Plus Two or an equivalent examination from a recognised University.
MBA: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks from a recognised university. Admission is based on a valid score in KMAT, CMAT, or CAT, along with performance in GD and a personal interview.
MCA: Candidates must have a graduation degree with preferably Mathematics at 10+2 or graduation level, and at least 50% marks. Admission requires a valid MCA Entrance Test score.
M.Sc.: Candidates must have a graduation degree or a B.Sc. in Sustainable Agriculture from a recognised university. A minimum of 50% marks in the Core Group (Core + Complementary + Open Courses) is required.

SSTM Application Process

SSTM's application process is both Online and Offline. However, the candidates seeking admission to the MBA must register themselves for KMAT/CMAT/CAT through the respective official website.

To take admission in SSTM, the candidates should carry the Original documents along with the self-attested photocopies for verification purposes.

The candidates must visit the college website/premises to download/collect the prospectus and fill up the application form.
Pay the requisite fees of INR 650/- in favour of “Director, SSTM, payable at Ernakulam” through DD and courier/submit in person the same to the corporate office of the Institute.
Fill up the form correctly and attach the following documents listed below:

10th and 10+2 mark sheet along with the passing certificate.
Migration and Character Certificate.
UG Degree Mark Sheet.
Community certificate (SC/ ST), if applicable.
Entrance Exam Admit Card.
Entrance Exam Fee Receipt.
Entrance Exam Score Card.
3 passport-size photographs.

Admission:

I have actually 3 colleges in the list of confirmation. I choosed this because of the course. But the exposure and the building which also attracted me. It have a vast campus and very good atmosphere.The laboratories are air conditioned ,the classrooms are modern and have digitised.some of the college's I applied didn't have such facilities. I didn't get any rejection from any colleges.myself I choosed this college. The admission process is according to university criteria ,you must have 55% marks in UG degree and there is relaxation for students in specific categories. The admission procedure is also not complicated,you must have all documents then it is a easy process.

Scms Shaping the future of students

Admission:

The only college under MG university which provied IMCA was Scms and De paul .Since scms is a well established and reputed college there was no second thought of joining the college . By their website I applied to the college and once they have gone through the profile a call was received with the message of being selected .After that we had to visit the college to submit our 10th and 12th college certificates and other details .Then the inauguration info was shared

When I heard that this college offer the course BSC in psychology I looked no where else and just applied here. I never looked for any other colleges to be very honest. The corporate world of SCMS !

Admission:

Scms was better than other colleges in the case of placements and standards. The admission process of scms was also simple enough. Within 4 to 5 hours we had gone through all admission process and also had done the admission for hostel and gotten in . There was nothing complicated. I had applied to several other colleges like kmea and i even got in but i didnt like the campus of kmea . It was conjusted. The eligibility in scms was 75 percent and above in 10 th and 12 th standard. The exams you can write includes the admission test for the college. There is not cutoff you just have to pass the examinations.

How is SSTM?

Admission:

The collage seats are provided based on the mg university ranking depending on the higher secondary education marks alone. There's no entrance test. The collage has a specific amount of management seat which can be applied through site based on the higher secondary grades alone. The collage provide reserved seat for caste, sports and such area's. The exams of the department is conducted by the mg university and the exam appears to be in systematic manner

The admission process is so general. They are 2 ways. one is by registering through the university which does need good marks in boards. Other wise try the management seats even it requires 60% marks. There is additional fees you have to pay if you are trying to get the management seats..
