I choose to computer science and technology department because today is technology-based and computer knowledge is necessary for all the students so that's the reason. In the computer science and technology department, there is 5 faculty member and a lab technologist. The total number of students for allotment is 60 but in 2019 the total number of admitted students is only 26. The faculty members' minimum qualification is b tech or similar. In my point of view, the faculty members are very good at their profession and their teaching technique is very student friendly, they take doubt-clearing classes for students. The course is a tough course and not easy but if you work hard you score well.

Bengal Institute of polytechnic is a private polytechnic college and the course type is a semester based there is 6 semester in every semester you have to pay Rs. 12000 and in total in 3 years you have to pay rs 72000 and rs. 14000 for admission fees. There is a minority scholarship and swami Vivekananda merit cum means scholarship is available and also West Bengal student credit card scheme is available.

The campus of the college is good and airy there is a large garden and the ambience is very good. There is no annual fest in this college. the library facility is not good for the books they stored are very old and out of syllabus. The ambience of the class is good the students are friendly and the teachers are student-friendly. In this college, there is a sports ground like a volleyball ground or a cricket ground. There are no social groups in this college.

Bengal Institute of polytechnic is a diploma-based college. In my case, I am a direct admission or management quota student. There are also 'JEXPO' exams allotted to students admitted .my course duration is 3 years and it is a semester-based course and there are 6 semesters in this course.
