Remarks

The candidate must have a science and maths background in their+1, & +2. As per keam pattern, the candidate required a minimum academic qualification to appear for the entrance exam. That is the student must pass all the subjects in +2 with a minimum of 50% of the mark. For engineering, the candidate should appear for paper 1 which includes physics and chemistry and paper 2 which includes maths. Keam application form, fees, dates and all other information will be available on the official website cee.kerala.gov.in

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

My goal is to work as a quality analyst. Because of that, I choosed this course. In saintgits most of the faculties have PhD. There are 16 staff in the department. For internal and external examination, the student needs 40% of the mark to pass the exam.

Placement Experience

3

Final-year students are eligible for placement. Placement training will be provided by the college itself. Most of the companies visiting our IT such as Infosys, TCS etc and they offer a good package also. Companies conduct a written test initially. After that, they will go for an interview. All the final year students can apply for placement. But some of the companies prefer the students without backlog. In mechanical, civil, and food technology core company visiting is less. But the faculties will help the students to acquire jobs with their connections.

Fees and Financial Aid

For management quota, the college provides scholarship based on the +2 mark. For merit quota, the government provide scholarship named Tution fee waiver and Special fee waiver. These scholarships are based on the keam rank and family income. There are other scholarships too. It will be on the keam website.

Campus Life

5

College provides more importance to cultural and tech events. The national techno- cultural fest in saintgits is NAKSHATRA conducted annually. SRISHTI is the national-level technical project exhibition conducted every year to showcase innovative projects. PRATITYA is the art day of saintgits where the students from saintgits can showcase their talent. Normally these fests will be in the month of February. weekly fests are also there every week in the name of VAROLSAVAM. Tech fest, SAMYUKTA will be conducted in the odd semester. It includes various workshops, tech events, talk shows, games, presentations, etc There is a library inside the campus that has a specialized collection of academic and general books, journals, magazines etc there is also E - a library. Sports competitions will be conducted every year for both faculties and students. Dance club- mad step factory Music band - EV 11 There are also other clubs like nature club, photography club etc NSS is a social group of saintgits.

Hostel Facilities

5

The hostel facilities are too good. For girls, there are 2 hostels inside the campus and for boys 4 hostels outside the campus. There are single bedroom, double bedroom and 3 bedded room. Rent will be based on the room you choose. Fee details will be provided at the time of registration. Rent will be paid yearly. And mess bill will be paid separately every month. The Mess menu is also good. Washing machine and wifi facilities are also there. Registration can be done at the time of admission.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance. The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies. The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.
