Course Curriculum Overview

I was interested in cyber security from starting. This was the main cause to choose Btech computer science and engineering specialization in cyber security. Faculties are well-disciplined Ph.D. degree holders. Mid-term and term-end types of exams are there.

Internships Opportunities

Microsoft summer internships were offered this year for Btech Students. We are asked to prepare a project within a few days. and Submit then they will shortlist the best projects and then some other rounds will also be there.

Placement Experience

There is one course called LPA training one month which focuses on placement coding and soft skills things. JP Morgan, Microsoft, Amazon, etc are companies that visited here. According to results, 70 to 80 percent of students are getting placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

VIT does not have any fee hike policy. The combined cost of your Integrated Mtech is 2.5 lakhs per year for tuition and hostel. For a BTech, 3.4 lakhs annually. There are a limited number of scholarship opportunities in vit Bhopal.

Campus Life

Advitya and Technofest are annual fests that are conducted at VIT Bhopal University. Almost all needed books for students are available in the library. Table, Chair, Wifi, extensions, electric switches, projectors, etc are there in the classrooms.

so in our college 1st year we have 2 semesters and n 2nd year we have 3 semesters and in 3rd year we have 3 semesters so 8 semesters already get completed and students are eligible to sit in placement from 3rd year . You can get internships in 3rd year as well if you have good grades and you are ready to grind . Talking about companies that visit for placements are Delloite , JP morgan Palo alto, De shaw and Co. My plan is to just have good gpa and get job asap

there are not much chances of placement as the student strength has increased drastically, students become eligible for placement from 3rd year, also as per the documentations there are more than 12z companies like hcltech, microsoft etc but not every documentation is correct so the chances of getting placed at campus is significantly low so i am planning to pursue higher studies and opting for gate

Placement Experience:

You become eligible to sit for placements in 7th semester , that is , in your 4th year. There are companies like Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Axxela, American Express, BNY Melon, Adobe , Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Optum, Oracle, etc. But in other IITs which are also 2nd generation, more companies (around 50) comes for on campus placements . The highest pay is mostly for Software development and Quant roles. Last year it was around 1 Cr per annum of a Computer Science student which is really great. And the average package was around 25-26 Lakhs per annum. Last year , around 88% of all students including B.tech and M.tech got placed with decent salary.

Life at MITS , Gwalior

Placement Experience:

The Placament in MITS are decent, especially for the computer science and IT branches , with companies like TCS, wipro, infosys visiting regularly. Average packages range from ?3.5 to ? 6 lpa , and some students get higher offer from off campus drives. Overall, the T&P cell of Mits gives every details for the companies coming.

other college i applied were vssut , jaypee noida , cutr, silicon but i choose vit bhopal because i wanted to study outside my state and bhopal was closer . So admission process is you have to give an exam called vitee and to get in to vit bhopal in category you gotta have rank under 45K to study in cse core branch and for AIML branch you need rank under 55K and for studying in Cyber security and cloud computing it should be under 70K . if you get anything above 70k its hard to land in a good cse branch under category 1 fees....Read More
