Remarks

College needs to be Practical and Placement oriented. also all the collective things for students development like internship and all should be taken place

Entrance Preview

I have choosen this college because this is very good medical institute in Maharashtra as well as I am much familiar with Chandrapur. I did my Diploma/Polytechnic [MSBTE] and got the admission to direct second year. i had 82% in final year. There was CAP allotment for direct second year admission.i got this college in first round.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Practical plus theory was the way they used to work on more. we need to find our own way to be a excellence. Although direct second years students didn't get enough time still they used to make all there efforts to complete the things within time. we need to be updated as city does not belongs to college area

Internships Opportunities

Internship is not compulsory and is not provided by college itself. This needs to improve soon . hoping as this college is emerging now. No stipend are provided.

Placement Experience

2

This was the issues of my time but day by day college is improving on this. Although i was a Training and Placement Co-ordinator. but did'nt placed. Now few campus and Off-Campus drives are taking for the placement. Overall you need to prepare for the opportunity.

College Events

4

Colleges holds 2 festivals other than public festivals. Tantrostav is one of them. most of the students participate in dance, drama, its full of entertainment, other is Sports Vaganza which is sports festival, in which many students participate, prizes consists of trophy, medals, certificates cash. totaly encourages students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

GEC is a government funded college and all facilities are essentially free. A little contribution of a few hundred rupees per month goes in such expenditures like extra messing in the cadets mess. Students are also provided with the essential books for each subject along with stationary for which no fees are charged. if u cannot pay fees banks are there which provide loan easily considering Govt college. category students also gets paid by government.

Fees and Financial Aid

At present govt scholarship schemes for there for minorities. Scholarship schemes are bring to notice through acad section of the college.

Campus Life

3

A few things that need change are perhaps an equal opportunity for boys and girls during entrance(not limited by the ratio).Besides this, the college is as near perfect as one can have. As I said in the title, its a college for the fortunate few and i am glad i am one of them.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel facility is OK accommodates most of students, infact every student coming from different cities has 2 hostels within the campus. filter drinking water clean sanitation, mess food is good at cheap price merely 30 rs for a veg thali hygienic tiffin service is also available at 1500rs per month.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors were helpful as their best level. No Ragging and all that were taken place.Co-operative seniors as we need to learn most of the things what to do and what not

Exam Structure

B.E consist of 1 2 3 4 minor/Sessional and 2 major, each year has terminals prelims and final university exams. Each exam consist of theory and practicals, exams are conducted strictly and marks are given based on preparation made.labs are equipped with every instruments.

Admission

1.I did did my Diploma/Polytechnic [MSBTE] and got the admission to direct second year. i had 82% in final year. There was CAP allotment for direct second year admission.i got this college in first round. 2.there was a online process for admission throught DTE. 3.process completes in 45 days

Faculty

3

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
