Remarks
For taking admission in BA HONS. PSYCHOLOGY, you can be from any different background as the admission process is through an entrance test. However, you will have an upper hand if the background is humanities. The application form can be accessed through their official website, the fees are 500-1000 and the dates are usually out in March/April.
Course Curriculum Overview
I opted for this course because I am preparing for Civil Services and I wanted Psychology to be my optional subject. The faculty ratio is really poor. There were only 3 permanent faculties in my department and the rest of the classes were dependent on JRF and Ph.D. Scholars. Exams were held twice each semester and it was quite easy if you prepare everything on your own for most of the subjects.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost of the study is pretty much manageable and usually, the scholarship is provided for EWS background students. There are no placement or internship opportunities for my course. You need to get at least a PG degree before getting any real jobs.
Campus Life
Campus life was very average. We just had 1 fest in 3 years. Other courses provide better opportunities. Central Library is good. In the department, they will not give you any book on the card. You can only read the book in the library. The librarian is full of attitude. Projectors in Classroom. Hardly any sports event is organized on a department basis. There's a psyche hub club in our department run by the students.
