Our college is Best

Eligibility is 35 percent marks in Madhyamik or equivalent are required for attending the examination Jexpo. And Students must have good mental and physical health. The application form is released in the month of February or March every year and the exam is conducted in the month of May Or June. Application fees are 450 for all students and 250 for kanyashree students. There are also reservation benefits. SC, ST, EWS, TFW, etc quotas are available for reservation.

Our course structure is very good. The metallurgy branch has 5 teachers. Mrinmoy sir is our HOD sir and the others teachers are Ajitesh Barman, Riya Mandal, Siddhartha Sankar Mandal, and Saikat Das. The teachers are very good and friendly. They teach us in a very good manner. Faculty: Student is nearly equal to 1:12. Exams are taken semester wise and every semester there are also two internal examinations means a class test of marks 20. Exams are easy to pass.

Our college provides internship facilities but it is very rare. The stipend is very low in amount. Always internship is done in a non-reputed private company. Students have to pay fees to take internships. But after internship students get a very advantage in the working field as their working experience increases.

Our college provided a good chance at a job in placement. Our branch has 100 percent placements. Shyam Sel, Jindal, Rashmi Metallics, Tata Metaliks, Super Smelter, Mython, Bengal Energy, L&T, etc company visited our college every year and engaged students in jobs in their respective fields. The average package they offered is nearly 30000 annually.

In the West Bengal Polytechnic system, there are not at all huge fees. At the time of examination, there is a fee of 1300 INR. And registration fee is 100. For the purpose of form fill up for the semester examination the fee is 250 almost. There are also students scholarships. SVMCM, Aikyashree, and Oasis students are available at pir college. It helps the student.

Campus life is very smooth and memorable. Our college is ragging-free. A freshers' welcome party is held every year. All branches conduct it separately, especially Mining, Metallurgy, and my Survey held it every year. Re-Union is held every 2 years gap in our college in the month of January or February. In Our library, there are huge books but all are non-usable. Librarian Does not give the book. But our library has all types of books including academic and non-academic. Classrooms are neat and clean from all sides. It is also well-furnished. Sweepers regularly clean the college area very well.

In our college, there are 3 hostels. 1. SB Hostel ( for 1st year and Voclet boys students) 2.Mining Hostel (for 2nd and 3rd year boys students) 3. Sister Nivedita Girls Hostel ( for all Girls students) Rooms are well furnished, especially in Mining Hostel. Every room has 3 personal capacities. There are 3 beds, 3 tables in every room and also light fans are there. Meal quality is moderate. Thursday: Veg Sunday and Wednesday: Rice Dal and Chicken Friday: Rice Dal Fish Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday: Rice Dal and Egg The monthly meal charge is approximately 1500. Hostel form fill up is conducted at the time of admission to the college.
