A small review for the big APT

The course was a little bit tough, but I chose mining as my family and relatives suggested it was a better one for my diploma and I was also a little bit interested in studying. The exams were not so much of a problem as I studied regularly.

Many companies like ECL, Jindal, sewer mines tata and other companies come to the college every year for recruitment. We made a project for an advanced method of longwall mining in our college life which was very much appreciated by the teachers in the college.

The placement in the college was plenty. Many private companies were invited to recruit from our college. Sometimes even 100 percent placement was possible. Those who were not selected or chose not to go to private companies can also appear in the govt exams in mining.

The fees of mine were around 5000..way less compared to a private college. I was also selected for a local scholarship as my percentage was high enough in the semester exams. The books were not so costly but a little troublesome to find.

The campus life was an enjoyable one. the books and journals in the up to date and new. They really helped us a lot with exams. Every year the college arranges a football tournament On the campus grounds with a very attractive prize.

After done with my HS exam, I appeared in the jexpo and got chosen for the mining department. The admission fees were not much as it is a govt college. The admission was smooth and I appeared in the schedule in college.
