College management is so strict. They will not let you strike against them and you will learn how to do their way.

I had given GUJ CET as entrance to this university and the ratio was 40% of GUJ CET and 60% of 5 subjects score average. I had 607th rank in Gujarat and had opted for Instrumentation and Control discipline. There was no interview before admission.

Nirma university has its site named "nirman.ac.in" which contains all the information about courses they conduct and fee structure as well as their achievements and alumni details etc. You will get to have detailed information about each courses and also about the placements for each courses.

I have no idea about internship for B.Tech degree. But there may be internships for M.tech student and as far as my knowledge says...it is around 20K to 25k for M.tech course.

Nirma university is known for its placement conversation ratio and its campus selections. There various Indian manufacturing companies visit campus for Engineering disciplines and 80% percent of eligible students get placed each year except you have very much bad luck with you.

Technofora was one the major events celebrated in 2011 lead by Instrumentation department and was a huge hit among other events. It was technical event with lot of competition e.g.robotics, game war , designing circuits etc. There are few clubs like Rotaract , ISTE , ISA, be part of one club and get into activities which help you in making your profile stronger in long run.

Fee structure has got changed since I left u university. We had annual fee of 68k and now it has increased to around 1.40 lac . So strong financial background is necessary to survive this fee structure. There are no part time jobs available inside the campus but you may try outside campus in Ahmedabad city to earn your pocket money.

For SC ST students they are providing library books. There is no subsidy on fees on cast basis or financial backward basis (India has lot to get reformed). Banks will help get you loan for your fees but university will need money at their time. Don't forget its an educational business.

Gender ratio varies from trend to trend. Ask any Mechanical guy about girls and they will talk about them for hours. CE guys , they are already talking to girl, so you don't get them to talk about girls.Extracurricular activities are most fun part during your campus life. Dances, drama ,plays,singing competition and star guest appearance are all part of your off study life. Enjoy it to fullest. It will never come back.

There is no hostel for B.tech undercards but they are providing hostels for MBA students and mess too. Canteen food is worst i have ever eaten in any educational institute (last eaten 2014 May). Hostels details can be known from website as well as any MBA alumni.

Nirma has its Alma Mater platform which enables students from different batches to connect with each other over job opportunities and other recent activities on their life.

Exam structure is pretty much assiduous and student have no time for long vacation during the year..there will me MSE and SEE examinations. Exam schedule will be continuous and don't expect any long gap between two papers. You will more likely feel like school after one year but at the end of 2nd year you will accept the reality.

You will get a form from K block. Admin area 1st floor. It may have got shifted to some other location. Last seen 2015. The admission process was simple and administration was supportive. Form fees details can be known from the admin department at above mentioned location.

The faculties for each courses are knowledgeable and few are having experience over 20 to 25 years in teaching profession. They are rich in knowledge and guidance tactics. They support students I'm extra curricular activities and encourages ti make students more competitive for the world before them.
