Remarks

Sixty percent of scores in GSEB exams and fourth percent in GUJCAT is being considered combined. I want a change where entire admission process should be on the basis of only GUJCAT score. Reservation benefit for SC, ST, OBC and EWS categories. Cut off is so variable but generally students of general category who get 6000 rank(given by GSEB) can get into any branch, for other categories it can be upto 12000 rank.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is updated and includes the latest technologies but the professors are not quite good. The teaching method is still old class. No practical exams are being conducted whether your subject is entirely based on practicals.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 1500 per year

Placement Experience

The placements are pretty decent. For branches like IT and Computer Engineering placements are around 90% with average package of 3.5 LPA. For branches like Civil, Mechanical, and EC placements are not so satisfactory.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are minimal. Free studies for girls students and TWF(tuition fee waiver) students. Fees for general category students is 1200? term fees + 800? exam fees per term. SC and ST category students have even fewer fees than this.

Campus Life

Not many activities inside clubs as they are still struggling to get sponsors and volunteers. Teachers are supportive if you want to make new clubs. The campus is pretty decent and nothing more inside the campus except 3 department buildings.

Worth it for academics

Placement Experience:

most of Students got placemets from college. Students become eligible fro campus placement in &th semester. Many companies visit college and hire students. Highest package is 8 LPA and average is 4 LPA.

No in my college placement is very good. All my seniors are placed in different companies and with healthy selery and good internship and minimum placement is 5.00 lakh per annum and maximum is 16-18 lakh

From 7th semester students become eligible for placements I don't know any companies name that come to college for placements. The highest is 22lakhsper annum and average is 4lakhsper annum 92% placements ratio in IT department.

College placement is very good in my college. Also some students whose parents has background in civil engineering are coming only for Degree. There are many companies visited . Student with Good project and good Score in semesters are getting placements. I am looking for placements.

i chose GEC-BVN mainy because i live in bhavnagar,and staying close to home seemed like best option.I had the chance to get in GEC-Gandhingar but both college have same syllabus and simillar placement records.I also applied in LD and VGEC but i did't have that much rank to get in.GEC-BVN and all college of engineering in gujarat has same admissioon process through ACPC.in ACPC they consider your 12th bord marksheet and GUJCET mark and make rank for all student.process is smooth with online application and document verifaction.
