Over all Saraswati College of Engineering is a good college If your are coming here to study and gain knowledge i assure you that you will definitely get a lot to learn but if you are coming to college just for fun then this college definitely wont entert

Entrance Preview

I had appeared for AIEEE in which i had scored 73 marks i opted for Saraswati College of Engineering as i had my friends who were studying there and they had given me good reviews about it i chose computer engineering over other courses as i had done my 10th from ISCE board, in which we were taught coding in java for two years and I thought that this would serve as a strong base for the four year course.

Internships Opportunities

No It did not provide with internship, though out TPO (Training and Placement officer)was in word with some companies for the same but in the end it din turn out to be successful.

Campus Life

Campus life is nice strict no ragging place gender ratio 6:4(boys:girls) there are many technical events such as robotics etc which are organised by the student council there is a huge crowd participating from various colleges across mumbai apart from this there are also LAN gaming events.

Alumni/Alumna

College seniors are very helpful every one is readily responds to your quires even if u need a reference in some company you can get it easily through your seniors they kept telling us on which field to concentrate in order to get better future.

Exam Structure

Great exam structure we have theory paper, external viva and practicals i wish we could have more marks based on practicals rather than theory papers as in the end we are judged on the basis of our practical performance. We had experienced two projects du

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Placement of this college is average, average package is 4.5 lpa most of the students are eligible from semester 7 The companies like Capgemini, Accenture, mind space, LTI, siemens, eclerx ,etc visited to college campus. The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

A good college for engineering

I had a jee score of 78% and was selected in the third cap round. The admission process was easy. You have to collect the application form at the college. They helped everyone out with the forms and cleared the doubts. The fees varies from course to course obviously. Mine was 97000 for BE (Information Technology) including stationary and excluding transportation. There's reservation criteria for concession in fees. You have to apply for it later when the college starts. Exams are not too tough and prepare you for the sem. Everything else is fine...Read More
