Remarks

I got into MGIT through my EAMCET rank. My eamcet rank was 60k and got it through EAMCET counseling. I googled the college cutoff rank for different branches and selected accordingly which college I can get into with my rank. I am a Muslim minority student so college fees were an exemption for me it was all paid by govt of Telangana (epass ts). Compared to all other colleges in the city MGIT has all the facilities and labs for civil engineering and the faculty is experienced and always encourages us to learn more. We civil engineering students are eligible for placements very less company comes for recruitment for civil and it's the same situation in every college we should try getting a job as a civil engineer ourselves many recruitment companies are IT only for which we are eligible but we should have coding knowledge. Campus Life is so fun you can join different clubs and the college premises feel homely I have visited other colleges as well but I felt more comfortable at MGIT.

Course Curriculum Overview

I saw that MGIT for civil engineering was at the top in 2019. That's why it was my 2nd option in EAMCET counseling. Student strength in every class will be 50-60. All faculty have done their Masters in civil engineering and some even have doctorates. Term exams were taken on time. The difficulty level is moderate.

Placement Experience

From the 6th semester, we were eligible for campus placements. Companies visited till now in which civil engineering students were eligible are 4-5. Companies like cognizant, TCS, mindtree& data beat and etc. For civil engineering students, only 4-5 students were selected but there are many more companies we have applied for and are yet to come. I am planning for a master's in structural engineering and preparing for GATE 2023.

Fees and Financial Aid

In 2019 fees were 1,08,000 but now it is increased to 1,08,000. I didn't have any problem as I got a full scholarship from the Telangana government (epass post matric scholarship). But you can get a loan from different schemes and the college is tied up with ICICI Bank for all transactions fee payments and etc. You can assistance from the college by contacting them.

Campus Life

The annual fest's name is NIRVANA. Which will be managed by different branches each year. Every branch will get a chance to organize the event. Nirvana is a 3-day event. The first day is a technical fest, the second day is a traditional day and the third day is an evening program. During Nirvana inter-college sports and different clubs like drama, dance, and song clubs perform. It is a 3-day event but including flashmob, it is fun for 1 whole week.

Placement Experience:

From 3 -1 only students become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited for our college was Jpmorgan,google,microsoft,Infosys capgemini tcs etc.. The highest package in our college was 54 lpa from Microsoft and average packages were 5-10lpa the percentage of getting placements by students is 75% and my plans after getting the degree is to get a good placement in a MNC's.

My campus life and experience

Placement Experience:

Until know i got some info among the placements and internships is that yes, this college is providing campus placements good as some of the recent companies were Infosys, Capgemini,and other companies drive has been conducted in the college for the 4rth years. So the placements are good here no worrys too. But the LPA is less a bit like in the past years as the software industry is getting more hard to get jobs.

I got an answer rank of 7381, I have chosen only ece subject in all the colleges which I have applied in osanima university, CBIT, vasaviengineering college, Gokaraju rangaraju college. Also other top 10 colleges.I got seat in this college but I prefer CB.IT college more than our college and also vasavy.College is equal to MGIT. After applying for these colleges, I got to know that Vienna is not a good college is equal and Mania university is a good college, but faculty doesn't care about students according to seat in CBI t and mjt, please. Prefer cbit. The admission process in this college is simple. You should get seat through t. i did applied for various colleges like chaitanya bharathi intistute of technolgy,vasavi ,vjr college etc and this college i got admissions in vasavi college and mgit but in vasavi college i got civil branch in which i don't have intrest and got IT department in mgit so i choose mgit over vasavi college and i got rejected by cbit, cvr college because i got eamcet rank which are not enough to get admissions in those colleges .In MGIT ,the minimum rank for the cse is 6000 and for ece and ET's the rank is 11000 for general category and we also have B category in which the students can get admissions through there jee mains percentile...Read More
