Remarks

Minimum 12 pass from the West Bengal board with overall more than 70% marks you are eligible for the course. You can find the admission form through the college and also the college's official site. Good reservation benefits for SC and ST candidates. The admission process is good so I don't want any improvement.

Course Curriculum Overview

Because geography is my favorite subject and there are many ways to build your career in geography. The faculty-student ratio is good a lot of boys and girls. The faculty Qualification is a good way to teach us. Because honors paper is so tough and the time is short so is not easy to pass but the pass ratio is so good because the teachers before the exam prepare us.

There are so many fees college yearly fee is 5300 and the university fees are different and are also included. There are many scholarships like svmcs and Nabbana scholarships and many scholarship opportunities for SC and ST candidates.

Campus Life

The Annual fest is the fresher's welcome program, Saraswati Puja, and NCC program. Every books and journal are available in our BC college library. Many amenities like tree plantation, yoga culture, drawing events, and many others. Sports like cricket and football are the main sports in our college and other activities are NCC. BC college has many social groups that are doing social activities.

Cirrculam is more theoritical just. There is negligible practical life lessons. Just like normal college, u study just to get degree. The whole cirriculam should be improved. Examination is held only once - midsems, endsems thats all.

SXC Kolkata is a gem of a college.

Placement Experience:

Computers are so vast that masters is mandatory and therefore I have certain plans for that. However big scale IT companies come here and students of Computer science Hons have had placements worth 6-10 lakhs easily. My plans are to appear for the job interviews but not taking any as I want to study more.

The curriculum was well-structured, and each semester, there were projects and presentations that also helped to test our knowledge. I got influenced as the curriculum provides us with financial economics, political economics, and Applied mathematics. The level of the exams was decent, related to the course. They could improve in teaching more practical knowledge and projects related to that, instead of only learning in a theoretical way.
