Remarks

I'm from the Mechanical branch, eligibility criteria for open category students should be 80-90 percentile and for the reserved category, it would be a little less. Our college organizes a group of colleges for admission that will guide the admission process. They will guide you on how to fill out the application form. Regarding reservation benefits, for the reserved category eligibility criteria is a little less but vary according to the department you want. About course fees, for the open category it was 1,10,000, for obc category students it was 61000 per year, for sc/sc students it was 3000-4000 something and if you got admission through Tfws course fee is around 17000.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

As from my childhood I was very likely to get knowledge about cars. As I grew up, my interest in mechanical components got increased and to get more knowledge about it I choose Mechanical Engineering. Our college has more than sufficient teaching as well non-teaching staff which don't cause lack of faculty. Most teaching faculties have done PhD or Masters. Had Quality teaching staff. About Exams, there are 2 Internal assessment exams and 1 final semester exam each semester and Viva practicals during the End semester.

Placement Experience

3.5

Regarding placement, it is somewhat good. About eligibility, final year students i.e 7-8th semester students are eligible for campus placement. There are different marks criteria for different companies. Recently Worley burns n McDonell company for core mechanical visited and other companies where mostly IT-based. The highest package in the Mechanical department was 29lakh in 2019. One can expect a 3.5-5 LPA if one gets placed. Before COVID 50-60 per cent of students from the Mechanical branch got placed and others carried on for further studies and other. My plan after getting a degree is will go for a job and according to it, I will master that field.

Fees and Financial Aid

Regarding Fees structure, When I joined in 2019, for open category students it was 1,10,000, for obc students it was 60000, for sc/st students it was 4000 and for those who got admission through the Tfws course fees were 17000. For reserved category students, it is compulsory for them to fill Scholarship form which is available on the Mahadbt site. There are different scholarships for different categories of students.

Campus Life

4.5

There is 2 major fests in our college. 1st is Zodiac which is a cultural fest and another is Icarus which is a technical fest. Both the fest are very enjoyable. Regarding the availability of books and journals in the library, our college has the quality and we'll maintain a library where you can get which ever book you want and if it is not available they order it. Regarding Sports and extracurricular activities, after the odd semester exam whole months, we have different sports in which different departmental teams play against each other. There are many student clubs both technical and non-technical. 2 technical committees which are worthwhile for mechanical students are TRRACING AND AERORGIT here one can get to know practical knowledge about cars and aerospace.
