Remarks

The college is affiliated with IP University. So there is a common entrance test IPU CET. Admission to different colleges is on the basis of rank secured. I preferred it because it is the location as it is well connected to the metro and the main reason is the MAE branch is available only in a few colleges and NIEC is one of them. usually, the MAE branch cut-off goes up to 15000 here. For admission to UG and PG programs, the candidates must have qualified Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test (GGSIPU CET) examinations. To be eligible for admission to B.Tech. the program, the candidate must qualify for the 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks to be eligible for B/Tech. The application mode of NIEC is online. Eligibility criteria for PG Courses are any recognized Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Admission will be made according to the rank secured by the candidates in the entrance exam.

As Indraprastha university is known for its low fees for a bachelor in technology The fee structure of this college is 1 lakh 18 thousand 8 hundred for the first year after 1lakh 13 thousand 8 hundred second year onwards for BTech. The scholarship is also available for the student from Indraprastha university where you can get up to 50% of scholarships

Campus Life

This also conducts its annual fest, tech fest but the month is not sure due to covid pandemic no dest in 2020 and 2021 but in 2022 the annual fest was celebrated in April. It has a huge library around 10k books are available in that and it also has its book bank facilities. This college also takes participation in various sports meets This college also has various types of society.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum at DTU is quite relevant and comprehensive. The reason I chose this course was the mix of strong fundamentals in the first year—like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Programming—followed by department-specific core and elective courses that allow some flexibility and specialization. The curriculum gives a solid foundation for both real-world applications and further studies, especially through hands-on projects and lab work. That said, some areas could be improved, like including more industry exposure, internships, and practical case studies to bridge theory and real-world problems. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-terms and end-terms) and include assignments and projects as part of evaluation. While most exams are manageable if you keep up with the coursework, a few subjects can be challenging, and preparation is key to avoid surprises.

Placement Experience:

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Great Placements but Campus needs improvements

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements. Almost 90% students gets placed. The top companies are Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Google and Adobe. The highest package is 53 lacks and the average package is 20 lacs. I plan to become a software engineer after i complete my course or study further.

A decent college

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students get hired, obviously, and they get a decent package. Highest package from our college is 52 LPA. Average package is 7-8 LPA. Highest package off campus is 1.2 Cr. Per annum.

Walking you through ADGIPS

I applied to IPU counselling through JEE mains. I didn't have many options but I was getting HMR university, Echleon institute of technology, Guru teg Bahadur 4th centenary college, etc. I chose this college because among other IP colleges it has a better placement ratio and good environment and crowd. I wanted colleges like Maharaja agrasen institute of technology, maharaja surajmal institute of technology, bhartiya vidhyapeeth which comes on top of IPU rank list but due to my JEE rank was not able to get it but I'm still content with what I have. To get into my college u need to have a JEE rank around 4L for Tech branches and 6-7 L for other branches like Ece, Me etc. Admission experience was fine IPU delays the process alot but it was still manageable so overall fine...Read More

An okay choice if you want a GGSIPU govt. degree

I honestly didn't want to go to a private college , that was never my first choice even my last choice also but with my jee mains rank that was around one lakh ninety thousand I couldn't get any of the nits or some government college.The reason I chose this college because this college is affiliated to GGSIPU (guru gobind singh indraprastha university), so the degree is a government recognized one which can be valuable in the future.This was one of the main factor for me in the finalizing this college.
