For the B.Sc. course, there is no entrance exam. Percentage of 12th class are considered. Detailed application forms do get available on the college's official website Fergusson.edu. And detailed timetable of the admission procedure also gets available on the college website itself. No need to visit the college for inquiries they provide us with contact numbers for inquiries.

There is a total of 3 exams,2 are internal and 1 external. Among the 2 internal exams, one is kind of flexible, and no proper timetable is formed. Teacher takes exam during their teaching period. The 2nd one is online and the external exam is offline. Fergusson College is autonomous so the exam level is slightly higher than University papers. The faculties are excellent and helpful.

Very few internships are available in college ( through assistance from the college), Although various opportunities are available around the campus. Also, the teachers are very helpful and supportive which guides students from time to time regarding the same.

As we are pursuing a bachelor's degree in basic science (non-vocational course) the placements available after B.Sc. are very few. The students from statistics, computer science, and animation courses get good placement. The average package ranges from 2.4lac to 4.5 lac ( for statistics students) and 3lac to 7 lac ( for computer science and animation students). Most of the students preferred to pursue their post-graduation after a bachelor's degree. Most of the students with BA and BSc are UPSC and MPSC aspirants.

The average fee for (plane)BSc ranges from 9000 to 12000. depending upon your caste and category. There are so many scholarship schemes such as ( some are private and some are the government) Mahadbt scholarship, inspire scholarship (80000/per year, for selective students based on 12th score).

The college is very good for extra curriculum activities than academics. There are so many many clubs and career advancement opportunities. Like NSS, SAATHI (A club of students to help specially-abled students from our campus and other colleges), ASTRO(Physics department, ROBOTICS(electronics department), and HELIX(microbiology department). Also, the campus is so fascinating. And declared a heritage place of India so very historic and well-maintained. There is a very huge library comprising more than 300000 books. A very big playground along with a gym, badminton court, basketball court and all. All classrooms are assisted with projector screens.

The hostel fee (currently) is 43000 for boys(approx.) and 70000(approx.) for girls including the deposit, which doesn't include the mess fee. For girls residing in college hostel college mess is compulsory. For boys, it is not compulsory. There are a total of 2 to 3 messes and 3 canteens on the college campus and so many messes and canteens are available outside the campus. Roughly around 3000 to 3500 is your expenditure for a meal. So many other rental rooms and PGs both for boys and girls are available in the area nearby to the college. They will cost roughly 3000 to 5000 for boys and 4000 to 7000 for girls depending upon facilities. There are some government hostels both for boys and girls where you can leave for free during your academics. These hostels (government) are not available for open-category students and are available mostly to SC and ST-category students. For boys, a college hostel is best, a single room for one student is available there. Girls' hostel rooms are mostly 2 sharing and 3 sharing.
