Remarks

Chandigarh group of colleges, land ran serves a variety of courses. It guarantees 100% placement and overall it also does it. The campus environment is nice and the faculty is helping. B.tech electronics teachers are too friendly and encourage you to sign patents and make good decisions in your life

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose b tech ( electronic & communication). This is because there is a variety of jobs including its jobs and core jobs in it. The student is almost 50 in every class and the faculty is enough to help all the students.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many companies like Microsoft, Wipro, etc offer placement in our college, and mass recruiter just like bosch also comes and almost takes all the students of the course. And the students not placed are the students that want to crack govt. Services exams.

Placement Experience

From 6th sem companies comes in our college for placement. there are many companies just as Wipro, bosch, Microsoft, etc that offer placement. Almost 80% of students in our course get placed and the highest package is 45 lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee of this college is 90k per annum. And it is comparatively less than the other semi-private or private universities. And scholarship is available for Punjab students and students who come from PWD or lower caste systems.

Campus Life

Many fests are conducted in this college and many big singers are brought to itothe show. The biggest event is a youth fest in which all types of fest just as tech fest, DJ, etc are available. Sports & extracurricular activities are conducted every odd sem and if the child is capable then they can play under ptu and north zone competition

Hostel Facilities

Almost all the rooms have projectors and the room size is enough for the 100 students to fit in. Meal quality is average in the hostel. Registration for a hostel is done at the time of admission. It is located in Mohali in the village and ran which is pretty much a good and quiet place.

Life at Chandigarh University A CSE Student

Placement Experience:

As a BE Computer Science student at Chandigarh University, placements are decent but depend a lot on individual skills. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester, and most of the placement process happens in the 7th and 8th semesters. Many companies visit the campus every year like Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some startups as well. There are a good number of offers made, especially from mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys and Cognizant. The highest package claimed by the university goes very high, even above 40 LPA, but those are for a very small number of students. Realistically, the average package for CSE students is around 5 to 7 LPA. Mass recruiters usually offer packages between 3 to 5 LPA. Around 70 to 80 percent of students get placed if they are consistent with coding and preparation. Those who depend only on college studies may find it harder due to high competition. The university also provides training for aptitude, coding tests and interviews which helps in preparation. After completing my degree, my plan is to get placed in a good product based company. At the same time, I am also focusing on improving my coding skills and working on projects so that I can aim for better opportunities or even higher studies if needed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1) I want to go in construction industry so i chose this field. 2) Currently our college curriculum is updated so its relevant i will say around 70 to 80% . 3) For improvement Faculties should be brought from all over india as professors here are only concentrated from ludhiana itself. and labs are very old it should be upgraded. 5) In a semester there are 2 monthly exams and one end semester exam. 6) As far as difficuly level of exam is concerned it is not much difficult if someone solved PYQ thoroughly.

Real myths and facts

I choose this college because the placement opertunity is very great as compared to other colleges .As college has attend the naac A++ gradation which adds another reason to join this college ..another reason also be that the the college is near by my hometown and I would be beneficial for me to stay with my parents and add new skills to me .its is the only college that I have applied for and got admission directly in the college . Honest CGC Landran review

The admission process is easy the eligibility is around 80% or 75% in boards that's it with PCM. There's was a registration fees of 11k when I enrolled and I'm not sure about now and no further fee for admission and this registration fees is included in the tution fees later, there are no college admission tests here, and they do not enroll a lot of students but it is collaborated with CU so a lot of students sits for placements ....Read More
