My experience in one of the best college in India - Kurnool medical college

I took the NEET UG test in 2017, We have to apply for NEET UG after completing the 12th class, I took coaching along with the 12th class at a local college, Got a good rank of around 2k, Got a seat in 1st round of counseling, The college is very good, the clinics are also super, NEET application usually starts in December and the exam is around May or June and the results in one month. Once, sc and st, ews have reservations benefits, The admission process is online only.

I choose mbbs to become a good doctor, The faculty-student ratio is like 1:20, All facilities are well-qualified, with professors from a reputed institution. The teaching method is good, course is according to NMC guidelines, Internals are 3 times every year and one prefinal, finals at the end of 2 semesters. Exams are moderate.

The internship is compulsory at Government general hospital Kurnool itself. You are paid more than 20k, rooms are free, Duties are also not hectic, You can learn a lot during clinical rounds.

Fees are 10000 per month, you can avail state scholarship, JVD scholarship available, and complete reimbursement, Stipend is 22k as of now, which will increase in the future. Job opportunities are good if you complete your MD or MS.

The annual fest is usually conducted around April or May, Some minor programs and events occur throughout the year, Books and journals are available in the central Library, Internet and digital library access are also available, Classrooms are digital. Sports and extracurriculars are one's interests, NSS and NCC are there, The website is available, you can google it. Social media handles are also managed by students.

The rooms are very old, only a cot is provided, You have to get a bed, no bathroom inside the rooms, Meals are very good, The menu is fixed, only south Indian cuisine. There are many outside hostels available if you want to stay outside.

No group discussion or interview for admission. Only neet entrance test, that's all. Getting a good rank is the only criterion to pass the exam.
