Remarks

The admission process was easy. Many staff were helpful in this process. I didn't have any reservations. I got admission to the management quota. I had to come to the college only 3 times for the overall admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course I opted for was computer science. In this modern era, computer science is very good. Faculty members try their best to improve the quality of the students. Their teaching method is very efficient.

Internships Opportunities

Many internship opportunities are available in our college. Some of the companies that are involved in this are TCS, big binary, amazon wow, IBS, Wipro, byjus, HCl, federal bank, Broadcom, nest SFO etc

Placement Experience

The percentage of students getting placement in our college is very high. Almost 90 per cent of the students from the computer science department gets placed each month. My plans after getting the BTech degree is to work here in Kerala for 1 year and then go abroad

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees were constant for me. All I had to do was not get any backlog. The college itself provides many scholarships based on maths scored in 12th maths and keam scores. I got a scholarship since I got marks for maths in the 12th CBSE boards.

Campus Life

Books of many quantities are available in the library. The library provided for the students is very large and contains all books needed for the student to complete all the semesters of every branch. College also organizes many tech fests and hackathons every month

My journey at TIST

Students normally become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (3rd year). TIST has ties with many companies that visit the campus for placement drives every year. Placement Experience:

Placements cells are supportive in terms of networking with different companies and are readily active for the students competing in getting internships and placements. The college has a tie up with different companies like Infosys , Wipro , Deloitte , IBM , NVIDIA , Deshaw Private Limited etc. Students become eligible from semester 5 onwards for on campus placements. The offers made by these companies are 8 LPA to 9 LPA by deloitte , innfosys , and IBM but the highest package is being offered by Deshaw and NVIDIA that is 60 LPA and 47 LPA. The average package is around 11 LPA and the percentage of students getting placed are above 80%. My plan after getting the degree is to work for an IT Company to get the hands on knowledge about what the current technologies demand and get experienced in that and work further upon it.

From the semester 7 onwards the placement interview will begin.The company's like Infosys,Sutherland etc.But if we are doing externally that is also good.I'm planning on improving my skills first and then going abroad. The average package available would be 4 lakh per annum.
