Remarks

The college is mixed. It has both positive and negative remarks. The faculty of the college is also mixed some are really good and some are really bad. There is strict environment for studies. Daily 6 hours classes are conducted.

Entrance Preview

After my schooling, I choose Ip university for my graduate program. It is a very good university.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum of IP university is not updated one. They are still following their old pattern and have not changed according to the environment. One of the major drawbacks that they have in their course curriculum is that in 3 semesters they ask the students to prepare a minor project report on research basis which involves the concepts of marketing research but they teach the basics for the preparation of minor project report and the subject marketing research in 4 semesters. So according to me the course curriculum of IP university should be updated according to the changing needs of the environment.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, the college provides the internship. But the internships provided by them are not of a good profile. 2-3 companies come for the internship but they are mostly into sales and are not even good companies. Thus the overall experience of the college internship is not good.

Placement Experience

2.5

The placements and job opportunities for the batch of 2014-2017 was bad. Almost 12-15 companies came many of them were BPO's and the others that came were either for calling profile or sales profile. No good opportunities were offered. 60% of students might have got placed. Packages offered by these companies lied between 1.8 lakhs to 3 lakhs per annum. Companies that came were Concentrix, Amazon( calling profile), Jaro education (sales), IBM( calling profile), Genpact etc.

College Events

3.5

In the month of January, there are various events organized in the college. The first event that is celebrated is sports day which is organized for 2 days. The event involves various competitions like various races, badminton, cricket, tug of war, shot put, long jump, football etc. Every student of the college can participate in the sports day. The student that wins the maximum gold meddles is awarded as the athlete of the year. Avensis is the technical fest of the college which is organized by the technical students of the college that is by most. It involves various games and competitions related to technology and other fun games also. The events involve a footfall of 600-1000 students for 2 days. Genesis is the cultural fest of both MSI and MSIT. This fest is organized for 2 days and involves participation from many colleges from Delhi. It involves competitions like solo dancing, singing, group dance, fashion shows and many more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the institute is feasible. The classrooms are ac centralized. The fees for 3 years is around 2.6 lakhs excluding hostel. The fees for the first year involves around 35000 and 40000 to the university as the admission fees. Thee fees for the second year are around 70000 which and for the last year, it is around 65000 which involves 2000 rs for the placement activities. With hostel facilities, the fees are around 3 lakhs to 3.5 lakhs. The hostel fees for all the three years is 35000 for 10 months that is from August to may. Fees for the hostel mess is INR 2550 for one months. The fees is not so expensive and are affordable. However, the fees might have increased as now they have started providing. It is not an expensive college.

Campus Life

4

The campus life of the college is very strict. It is just like a school. Students have to maintain attendance of 75% how ever some teachers are line ant and they do not say much. if someone doesn't scores well in the internal exams or miss behaves his or her parents are called. There are not many societies in the college. Fests organised in the college are also not very good. They are normal. In the final year students are taken on a trip.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel rooms are on a sharing basis. In each room, there are 2 students. The furniture in the room is old and need to be changed. Even the walls are not well painted. The cupboards are small. The rooms are small, However, the hostel corridors and washrooms get daily cleaned 2 times a day. Hygiene is maintained. The water cooler gets cleaned up on regular basis. The normal water supply in the hostel is not good. The water that is supplied in the hostel is salty and hard water. The rooms are not spacious and the tables and chairs are broken. There are cctv camera's installed in the corridors which maintains the privacy and discipline in the hostel. The common room involves sofas and a small tv. Overall the hostel is good and one enjoys a lot in the hostel but it needs some improvements and should improve its furniture and other basic infrastructure. May be over the time it gets improved. The hostel warden is sometimes rude, The mess food is also okay. They serve the food on the tables to every student and their is no restriction on eating the quantity of food. The mess people are really very good by heart and nature . They serve the food very politely and are of very frank nature. There is a garden downstairs where the students can walk and play in the evening. There is a badminton ground also for the girls to play. The hostel timings are till 7 pm

Alumni/Alumna

There is no alumni network in the college. However the college is trying to built the same for the coming years.

Exam Structure

The exams are conducted at the end of the semester that are the internals and the college is really strict in matters of studies. They take around 3 internals on a regular basis and also of 75 marks of the full syllabus. It prepares a student very well before the exam but for the particular time period, it is very hectic.

Admission

To get admission in this course and college one has to give IPU CET BBA entrance exam. The entrance exam includes quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning , verbal ability and general awareness. It is an easy exam if one is good with the basic concepts of an aptitude exam. The forms for the entrance exam are released between end march and first week of april on their website that is ipu.ac.in. By the end of april admit cards are received and the exam is held in first week of may. The results of the same are announced in mid may. The admission process starts from the month of june. First one needs to register for the online counselling which involves a fee of INR 1000 and fill a preference list of colleges of ip university. Once the registrations are closed then after few days list are generated which involves the cut off ranks for various colleges under ip university. Once you get the college of your choice according to your rank you can freeze the seat in that particular college by paying a fee of INR 40,000. After this date of joining a particular institution is mentioned on the ip university site, following which one can go the particular college.

Faculty

4

The faculty of the college is mixed. Some have good qualification and some are just employed through approaches and do not know anything related to the subjects. Few of the teachers are not well versed with the subject knowledge. While some teachers are really frank and give their best to provide knowledge to students. They do not only provide the subject knowledge but also cares for the overall development of a student.
