Remarks

I was admitted through kcet exam and the cutoff was 84k and my rank was 66k. We can access the college website for the details. No, the college admissions process is good but the number of placements should be increased.

Course Curriculum Overview

We don't exactly have the knowledge of my course as we still haven't yet entered our respective branches. The faculty members are very good and we understand the topics very cleanly. We have the chalk-and-talk method. We completed 2 sem in 10 months this was a bit difficult

Placement Experience

3.5

The placements have been a big issue in our college as we haven't got good numbers for them. The student gets eligible after the completion of the 6th semester. Tcs has been the company which has got more number of placements the highest package was of 1200000. There are very poor numbers in the placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are actually too high for this college but it is the fixed govt fees for my course. We have applied for the scholarship months ago but still, haven't received any amount yet. It is the ssp scholarship.

Campus Life

We had conducted a fest after many years due to the covid wave through these years. The library has a wide variety of books and we are free to access to anyone which we require. The nsui group is run by the students.

Best Kept Secret

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum for this year is the updated one. Its 2025 Scheme for the students. The curriculum is well designed according to the needs of CSE students for real life coding. The curriculum contains all required and updated topics which students from CSE background require to develop excellent skills for jobs and startups. There should be only one internal exam instead of two. Because, two internal exams tend to keep them involved more into college exams leaving very less time to build their extra skills. Thus there should be only one internal exam so that students can build their extra skills.

MIT Manipal's Student Plaza is amazing!

Placement Experience:

MIT Manipal Placements starts at around 6th semester as atleast the training and all starts. So final interviews and all starts for us in the 7th semester and before entering 8th or the final semester most of the placements are already done. I still wants to pursue masters as our university has tie-ups with American universities and our course skills can be bettered with masters is what I feel.

MIT Manipal boast a night life worth spending!

Placement Experience:

Around 47 students in our course and in 2025 36 of them were placed and rest I don't think even applied as jobs were definitely available. Infosys, Polaris and others who are now world famous for building cyber security systems were at MIT Manipal to hire students.

BMS College of Engineering truth

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placement from 7th sem. A lot of companies visit the campus,around 300 companies visit and around 1200 offers are made. The big ones are oracle, natwest, ring central,visa. The highest package is around 35 lpa, the average is around 10 lpa. Around 65% students do get placed. My plans are to get a good job after this degree.
