Remarks

Mhcet entry, marks will be considered for stream. No gd pi aa such, good induction process conducted by staff and senior students. Helps increase the reach of freshers within the college. Exam cell and student admin offices are very helpful with any issue that arises in process.

There are good department heads with professors pursuing doctorates in their field of reasearch. 60 students in a class and teaching is done efficiently using projectors, blackboards, and industrial visits.

Internships Opportunities

We had a final year project on augmented reality application and enough help was provided by teachers internships as such weren't given with pay rather they were upskilling workshops held by the college.

Placement Experience

Good placements with a wide variety of companies from all sectors. IT is the dominating sector with median pay of seven lakh rupees per annum. The companies also keep up to promises of perks and benefits and the TPO of the college is very helpful as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

One lakh, thirteen thousand a year is a very affordable amount for engineering considering the quality of education you will be availing. Internships with no pay and jobs at the end with good pay will be given considering you do well.

Campus Life

Cognition is the technical festival and Tatva moksha lakshya is the arts and cultural festival that takes place twice a year. There are various clubs by international committees such as TEDx, IEEE, and Codechef all maintained and run by students.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. SIES A Honing Edge for young minds

I had applied for MIT pune and VIT after the jee and cet exams I never recieved any feedback from MIT. However i recieved 31000 rank in VITEE and thus applied for the admission process. However i got a seat in VIT Vellore ina higher fee bracket which was not ideal. Since i believed that further education(MBA Mtech) Was also required i decided not to spend too much for a college and so chose SIES based on my CET score.
