Remarks

The Admission Process was simple. You have to clear JEE Mains exam and check the opening and closing rank according to you want and then apply for JOSAA counselling After that you will be allocated a seat and pay the fees and do the reporting and Document Verification and you are good to go.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course was B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering. The faculty is very good and experienced. There are three exams in a semester, Minor 1 and 2, And a final major Exam. The exam taken is mainly conceptual basis.

Internships Opportunities

There are very good internship opportunities for third-year students. Accenture, zs like company come for internship and give PPO also They also provide six-month internship. The internship is mandatory for every student.

Placement Experience

Placements are very good Almost every student is placed from every branch. Highest package offered was 44 lakh from Microsoft and the average CTC is 7 . 50% of students get placed in the seventh semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

Compared to Different Engineering college the fees is not that much great. The food in the hostel is also good, The facility provided is very good in the number of fees they take. There are scholarships provided to students. Funding is also provided for startups.

Campus Life

Campus life is very chill at NITJ. It is a very safe environment. Top Notch Sports and Gym facilities are provided to students. Timings are restricted in the first year of college from 2nd year one is free to do anything.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is very good , neat and clean. first year students are given large rooms as 3 students will get a single room. In second year there will be two person and from 3rd year only one student per room.

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

The course curriculum is interactive and have added various new thing like in the engineering graphics subject they have added the software like autocad instead of traditional drawings... Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

Atharv ki dastan nit ki kahani

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
