Remarks

The admission was based on Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical Examination. The rank list will be published after some weeks and then the option registration to the colleges for Engineering will begin and you can apply for the needed colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

I like to construct and design new buildings so I selected civil engineering. The faculty is very good and helpful. The students to teachers' ratio is 1:30, I think so. The faculty has a master of technology graduation in Civil Engineering. The exam is for 6 months.

Internships Opportunities

Several companies offer internships during the last year in college. Like Tech Mahindra, bosch, etc. Several projects are undergoing in the college during the 7th and 8th semesters.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The fee hike depends on the government and it is constant most time. There are various central and state scholarships available in the college for the students. The are also several financial Assistance offered by the college to needy people.

Campus Life

The campus life is awesome, there is tech fest occurring in October and art fest occurring in May, there are two libraries, one is the main or central library and other is the department library. There are various clubs for the students.

Yeah they do have placement here and they prefer their students more which is good and most of the time they give placement as teaching assistants. Sometimes only in the plant but mostly it's for TA and especially if you are doing your masters here it is so good

Pros and cons of NIT CALICUT

Placement Experience:

Qualcomm, ibs,Infosys etc visits. Highest package was 55 lakhs. Average package is 20 lakhs. Nearly 100 % placement in computer science engineering. After degree joining get a job through campus placement.

My experience on my academic career.

I wrote KEAM examination for admission to Kerala engineering colleges. I got a rank around 20k and got an admission in one of the colleges under CAPE.
