Remarks
The admission process is almost the same as all entrance exams but there was an advantage in Jamia they have percentage criteria of 55% which is lesser than the other exam apart from that all the process is the same and the exam would be conducted offline mode there were 100 or 120 questions and there is also negative marking of one-fourth of weightage of the question but even if you will attempt just 60 questions and you are confident you have attempted correctly there is a high chance you can crack the exam.
Course Curriculum Overview
To be honest, being a non-cs background student I find it really hard to go with the curriculum, MCA in Jamia is a 2-year course so the syllabus will seem to be completed in just a blink of the teacher's side so you can't procrastinate even a single day apart from the all faculty members are well qualified but they will only show interest if you have the curiosity to learn.
Placement Experience
Placement in Jamia is decent but it totally depends on the students as Jamia has the placement cell managed by the students themselves in which student approaches the company to conduct the placement drive. Last year Jamia's average placement package was 6lpa and the highest was around 15 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of Jamia are very nominal it's the thing that made me choose Jamia over BHU, it's just Rs.8500 /yr even the monthly rent of Delhi pg is more than this amount. To be honest I don't have any acquaintances with scholarships and campus jobs.
Campus Life
Jamia is not that good for the sophisticated student but if you have an interest in Education related stuff quizzes, and emerging technology then you will definitely enjoy it here because multiple seminars by various speakers have been conducted in Jamia. If you are vegetarian you will face difficulty finding anything good in the canteen according to my personal views. Jamia has a very nice library Zakir Hussain Library which is quite large and apart from that every department has also its own separate library.
Other Applied Colleges
Banaras Hindu University | Master of Computer Applications
There are multiple reasons of opting Jamia instead BHU although both are very reputed university but I m from NCR so I found Jamia close to my home and another thing is jamia fee is very nominal along with that the last year placement of Jamia is better
