Remarks
As it is a government college under The University of Burdwan, no entrance exam is required for admission. The selection process is based on class 12 results. After the form fill-up process is completed, a number of merit lists is released. And based on their merits students are selected.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is a small department of Vivekananda Mahavidya. A Microbiological Laboratory is also available here. There are 4 teachers and 2 lab assistants. It offers a graduation label Microbiology course with practical. This department follows the syllabus given by The University of Burdwan.
Fees and Financial Aid
As I told you earlier, it is a government college. So admission fees are limited. It takes almost 5500 per semester. And exam form fills up fees of almost 500. And as there are a total of 6 semesters, so total fees are around 35000. Here students can apply for scholarships also. I personally got 2 scholarships per year. And also half-fee facility available for low-income students.
Campus Life
The campus is a little bit good. Natural Green everywhere. A library facility is also available, where students can go and collect books, newspapers, journals for their study. This college arranges annual sports every year. And most of the departments of the college arrange a Tour for students.
