Remarks

Many extra curricular activities are held along with academics and all students participate equally. There is a ground for basketball and football. The college provides boarding for boys. Also the canteens serve delicious snacks. The infrastructure is also quite good with well-equipped labs.

Entrance Preview

JEE entrance exam to go for this college, I scored good marks in that. A very reputed college. An interview with the college proctor was held after the admission procedure who motivated me for the ambitious life ahead and a another phase of life that I was going to start.

Placement Experience

Interview and written tests are conducted for placements. Minimum 60% marks are required for a good placement. Placements of the college are excellent for CS and IT students. Mechanical students are mostly placed in IT companies.

Campus Life

Beautiful campus life with well-structured architecture of college that has places to hang out with friends.It is a co)ed college so no gender biasing anywhere. Labs with all facilities available. Sports event when college life is different , another charm is there when cheering, playing for our teams becomes passion. Sports on inter-branch level.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are available for both girls and boys in separate blocks.Both the hostels are within the college campus and are well furnished and equipped with generators.

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.
