Internship opportunities

Admission through JEE advance exam with good rank at least under 3000, for a good branch. For reservation, the sc category rank is 300 for the AI branch. After JEE, we have to go through jossa counseling for allocation of seats.

In counseling, you don't choose your course your rank decides which course you get. faculty students ratio is good than other IITs it's around 1:10. All faculty members are highly qualified in their field. If we compare it to other IITs we have a segmented system for the exam we have 3 segments each semester and each course has some credit based on its length. We have to collect some credits to get a B.Tech degree.

There are all companies are the same which are visited in old IITs and their roles are based on their requirements with their respectable stipends. Like there are software roles, and hardware roles, some are finance-related, cad modeling, etc.

At the start of the 5th semester, you get opportunities for internships in good companies and at end of the 7th sem, there is a placement session start. In placement around 330+ companies visited every year and approx. 600 offers are received. In an internship, these numbers are 90+ companies and 300 offers. The highest package is 65.45 LPA and the average is 20.86 LPA. We have an 80-85% placement percentage. My current plan is to get placed in good company.

The cost of the study is comparatively ok, but if your family income is less than 1 lakhs and both of your parents fill ITR then your tuition fees (around 1 lakh) from each semester get removed. For different categories, they have different schemes for the SC category they have the NSP scheme which you can read on their website. For a job & internship, you have to be very dedicated to your field and go through some tests or interviews.

My college annual fest is Elan & Navision and it conducts between Feb and May, but after Covid, its timeline gets affected. At now we don't any such library where we sit and study, but we have a collection of books, journals, online materials, and some subscriptions of websites which we can borrow, and if you want or recommend any book to the library. The classroom and auditorium are very well maintained and designed. Sports and extracurricular are the main parts of my college they conduct many activities where we can participate. There are so many clubs of your interest, if it is not present then you can start on their own. For the main body of the students, the activity is Gymkhana.

In-room they only provide a bed, table, fan, almirah, and chair. The room is enough to enjoy your hostel Life. Hostels are well maintained. Mess menu is a mixture of South Indian and north Indian food, and the quality is somewhere medium. Affordability is fine and many new hostels are in construction right now. But in the first year you double sharing room after that you got a single room which is permanent throughout your course.
