Remarks

I am not sure but sometimes I felt racism there. Being an outsider, I felt boycotted sometimes in many things. May be this is my notion but I had a gut feeling for the same.

Entrance Preview

ISCAT - I always wanted to go for this course as it has something extraordinary to offer. Even while working in a corporate house, I am regarded different as this course has given a new touch to my personality.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Our course was awesome and it has all the aspects that are essential for preparing you as a potential part of media/advertisement/film industry. With best studio, still photography and video photography classes - they taught us very well and arranged seminars to understand the industry very well.

Internships Opportunities

I would not say that it was that good as I didn't paid. Getting into media industry is a big thing and somehow I just managed to get intern at no payment.

Placement Experience

2

All of us are working today. However, very few got placements from college as mostly got it during their intern and some have plans to move into different cities to carry on further career. However, most of us started between 9 k and 15 k per month.

College Events

4

We had lots of seminars, webinars, inter-college fest, cultural events on various occasions, film festivals and various others. Our college also has Roadies and Radio Mirchi Auditions. These were big enough to capture the attention of whole city.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was moderate. Don't know the current fees but ours was 2,40000 for two years of course. The fees was supposed to be paid in two parts. Well, some of them were also allowed to pay the fees into fractions if their budget was fluctuating. However, I can't say that what they are taking today.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have no such idea about any this kind of thing has happened. So, I can't explain or write about this kind of thing.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life is a great life and I think one should definitely have experience of it. If I talk about our course then there were no gender difference. Competitions were between good students - never between anything else in my college.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel was good with strict environment and great facilities. They used to clean the rooms and washrooms everyday and hot/cold running water facilities were there in the bathrooms. Each of us was having separate wardrobes and tables. Mess food was not

Alumni/Alumna

Everything was superb and I always miss those things. Our seniors were supportive and still in touch with us. We had a friendly atmosphere at ISC that is simply commendable.

Exam Structure

Exams were cool as just used to be held frequently in order to teach us practical skills. We didn't have to bother much about memorizing answers as they were fun.

Faculty

4

Course was awesome so was the faculties. They have best of facilities, atmosphere and teachers who make you aware of the every dimension of mass communication. They have nurtured us as a person who stand apart from others.

Campus placement training is available too. You're eligible for it after the third semester. if you have no backlog It is great. There are many companies that visit because it is the home university. Average package is 5LPA and it goes upto 16 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 60-70. My plans after the degree is to apply for my NET exam and after that I'll do my Ph.D in English
