Remarks
Some issues did occur during project submissions when one of the professors decided to fail everyone.
Entrance Preview
The entrance test was conducted by the college itself. It's a basic test to check your aptitude. Based on your score you either clear admission or not. But, it's a very simple test that everyone clears.
Internships Opportunities
I had a 2 month internship with a striped of Rs. 7,500/- per month. I worked with an AD agency called MAK Media. The internship has to be procured on your own with some help from Alumni.
Placement Experience
Placements are average. You need to get a job based on your internship itself. You have to convert your internship into a job by the end of the 2 month period.
College Events
We had a college fest each year like most colleges which was great fun to both organise and participate in. We had to plan everything right from the name of the event, to the date, venue and games.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Very reasonable fee structure of around Rs. 1lakh per year for a 2 year course. Plus travel and food expenses. You can recover the entire course fees through one years salary after starting your job.
Fees and Financial Aid
Not that I am aware of. But there are might be some scholarship options now. Fees are quite reasonable and considering that we get jobs with a starting salary of 2.5Lakhs per annum. The entire course can be paida off with one years salary.
Campus Life
Campus life was a lot of fun Filled with a lot parties, events and practical lectures. We even had a subject where we had to watch movies and review them for a grade.
Hostel Facilities
Mess food was awesome.I didn't stay at the hostel, but from what my friends say, the hostel is quite clean and well organised. Although the timings are a bit strict, but that's the case everywhere.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network of was quite good as the alumni was often called for giving guest lectures and real life experience in the ad world. We learnt what we should expect when we pass out and where we would get placements and what our expected salaries would be etc.
Exam Structure
Exams are well scheduled giving you ample time to prepare and excel at them. Lot of objective questions. Most exams are practicals making it very easy to excel without studying from the book.
Faculty
Some faculties were actually ex Alumni whereas some were actual industry experts which made the course quite interesting. Some professors made the subjects very interesting by giving us maximum practical tests which didn't require any book knowledge.
