Remarks

Here admission is done on the basis of JEE main exam score. After I gave the exam, I applied for JAC counselling which allows seats on the basis of score and category. For each category, cutoffs vary. Application form of Jac counselling opens after the jee final result in which students get CRL. In jac counselling students have to do choice filling for the courses they want to pursue in the listed colleges of JAC i.e. NSIT, DTU, DSEU and IGDTW(only for girl candidates). Around 8-10 rounds are done by JAC for seat allotment.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course as this was the only course I was allotted on according to my jee score. Faculty members are quite good here, they always take classes and give their best still syllabus is hard to complete before exams. In each sem there are two-semester exams, mid-sem and end sem other than these practicals are done in the last month of the teaching of sem and projects and presentations were taken from each student.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Placement Experience

Packages here are quite low if we talk about the average which was around 6-7 lakhs and the highest package offered was 18-20 lakhs when this college was under IPU but now it's under DSEU so changes are expected. Companies like Amazon, TCS, Wipro, ByJu's and Maruti Suzuki.

Fees and Financial Aid

The first-year fee is 1.5 lakhs and each year there's a 10% increase in fees. Total fees for the whole course are around 7 Lakhs. Students can avail scholarships according to their family's annual income. The scholarship form opens for each year and the minimum scholarship that can be availed is 25% and the maximum is 100% if you have an NFS card means you can get your whole year's fee back.

Campus Life

On our campus, there are around 3 clubs which are running properly and are funded by the college whereas other new clubs are also being formed by students. Existing clubs do many interesting events each sem or year in which any student of campus can participate.

Placement Experience:

The placement was not too good it was bad the main reason was like it have not in better place if student want to grab an offer he do offcampus apply so they get job .The companies visted our collage was tcs ,infosys , wipro and sometime Amazon. The highest pacakge was offers in 2020 for almost like 30LPA after that non of them get that much placement .In simple wprd you are the reason of your too get placed in companies . In our collage not fang companies offerd placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good especially during recession. You're eligible for placements after 3rd year. After 2nd Year you're eligible for Internships. All Big Companies like Google Microsoft Apple Goldmansachs Mckinsey etc. Highest package offered till now in 2025 is 85LPA (Atlassian) Average of CSE is 17 -18 lpa . almost 53% people get placed in 2025 (recession time). See The degree OF DTU has its value. So it gives you an edge while you go for off campus.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate here is around 70-75% on an avg in all branches and sometimes even higher. After 1st year only , multiple opportunities starts coming . After 1st year and before 2nd year , basically in summer vacation we have to do a compulsory internship (college also provides) and we are provided a credit for that . Then multiple opportunities like GOOGLE STEP ,amacon internship , etc come.

Placement Experience:

From 6 semester all students are eligible for campus placements there are almost more than 30+ companies come to make offers and don't recall the names but almost 34 lakh per annum is the highest package they offer and some lucky students also get 80 lakh per annum package almost 80 percent students get placed.

Students start interships as early as the end of 1st year. and they become eligible for campus placement in the 4th year.there are more than 25 companies which visit the college and around 100 students get placed. Highest pakage last year went around 20LPA, and average was around 9LPA.

The corses are well designed And related to your curiculum evey course are relevent for student the course they provied in first sem are Math,computational thinking,Intoduction to south asia,ENG,Phy. most of collages have mechanical in their first sem where they have to do weilding ,crafting etc which have no use in course of CS.

Our college takes admission through the JEE MAINS entrance exam. The exam is conducted by the NTA (National Testing Agency). The exam is moderate to difficult. Eligibility was clearing JEE ( join entrance exam) where you should score more than 90 percentile to have a good college. 1.Eligibility is , You have to maintain under 1lac rank in jee main (if you are outside Delhi). There's 85% state reservation. If you have 3-4 lac rank(crl) and you belong to Delhi you can easy can get into this college(for OBC ). 2.Go to Jac delhi counseling web and fill the application form (fee is 1500) . Registration starts after jee adv exam. 3.Theres state reservation of 85%.Im from outside Delhi. 4.State reservation should be reduced, We outside with 50k crl OBC is equal to 200k crl OBC from delhi students. that's unfair just b/c we born in any other state....Read More
