Remarks

First I applied through the Delhi University website and then wait for the cut-off to issue. The website was du.ac.in. As I belong to the General category I don't apply for any reservation Benefits. It was a very easy process and I believe that Delhi University colleges should issue fewer cut-offs so that everyone can study in their dream college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose a BA in history because I want to pursue my life journey in the teaching profession. The faculty was good and the student ratio was well maintained. Teachers were highly intellectual and experienced they taught very well. Exams were conducted timely every 6 months and assignment submission was also on time and exams were not too difficult to pass at all everyone can pass the exam easily by studying regularly.

Class Size: 73Course Fees: INR 8500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees were not too high as all others in Delhi University l. Lakshmibai College offers a scholarship program as well during the covid they just wave off the complete year fee by just taking valid documents like ration card and income proof which was a very commendable step by Lakshmibai College but there is no campus placement here in Lakshmibai College.

Campus Life

The fest which had been organized by the college was fest was conducted annually and sometimes half-yearly. Although the library was big enough to have all the books which everyone need to learn or read. Sports activity in college was very exciting. Students also take part in a social group and help some organizations to get their work done easily.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is something that can have improvements. For example I am studying C++ in my computer minor class which is becoming less and less relavent as compared to a lamguage like python. Alot of job prospects require students to know a language like R so I feel things like that should be taught so that the course cam make a student more real world ready.

DESHBANDHU COLLEGE BEST CHAPTER OF MY LIFE SO FAR

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course requires a lot of analytical and logical thinking. The scope is quite wide in my course without having any professional degree too like research, analytics, finance manager etc. This course gives opportunity to gain applied skills and as we are dealing with quantitaive aspects our statistics also gets better with time. Few improvements which i would like suggest are that their should more practical and real life knowledge, currently it is very theoritically heavy. Teaching online softwares must be compulsoury so that we remain updated with technology.

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are pretty good. The placement cell of my college is pretty active and facilitataes the placement process. Companies like Deloitte, EY and PWC often come to our college for placements with the average package being Rs. 8,00,000. After getting this degree, i will pursure another degree in MBA or I might also take a part in the placement process and pursue an MBA later. Students in semester 6 and further can take part in the placement process but there are internship fairs and summer internship programmes for students who are not eligible for placements

Students become Eligible for campus placements after in the 3rd year. The placements have been improved a lot in the past years. Companies like Pwc, kpmg, McKinsey, bain and Co come for campus placements. The highest package was 23 lakhs per annum last year.

I applied to almost all colleges offering the course that i have chosen, i got confirmed admissions in majority of them, however I chose this college because of it's location, unique exposure and the faculty. However, some of the colleges I applied to rejected me too, as this course is highly competitive and very few colleges offer this course, I acknowledge that I am not the best and hence I lost my spot in those colleges. The admission process : - Sit for the cuet exam - Portal opens for admission to all du colleges after one or two months, register there. - Admission happens in three phases through the portal ? registration, making and submission of the preference list (course wise and college wise) and lastly the allotment. Interest in Business and Economics and getting a DU Degree is the only reason to go here in 2025.

There are only 10 colleges offering BBE in Delhi University. So, therefore, the course is high in demand. It is a professional course so the college is still in the process of adapting to a professional setting. I applied for all other colleges offering BBE in DU, and got admitted here via the Common University Entrance Exam (CUET). My preference was to go to Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce to pursue this same course, but the cutoff for the same is very high.
