Asansol Polytechnic provides 99 percent placement.

An entrance exam Jexpo is held every year in the month of May or June. The eligibility for appearing in this exam is X from a recognized school and the age is 15 years. In 2021 the application fee was 450. In 2021 jexpo was not held due to the corona pandemic. The application form is released on webscte official website. There are also reservation benefits like SC, ST, DQ, Female quota, PWD etc. I was admitted through the TFW quota. From this quota, I get the advantage of a waiver of tuition fees.

I have chosen this course because I like mechanical and my teacher influenced me to take the mechanical branch. Mechanical is a branch where we can get to know about many ideas of machine designing. Our college's faculty is very good and also we'll be educated. They are also friendly to their students. Bappa sir, sabitri ma'am, Debnath sir, Hazra sir etc. are very eco-friendly characters. There are 32 teaching staff in our college. Every semester has 2 internal exams and one end-semester external examination. Exams are very easy to clear because teachers taught the students in a very good manner.

Our college is reputed because of its placement. Many companies visit this college for placement. L&T, Bengal Energy Ltd, etc company visit our college. In the branch of Metallurgy, the placement is so high. Almost 99 per cent of students got placed from this college in the campus placement. The average package they offered is nearly 200000 INR annually.

The fee structure of this college is almost INR 1600 per year. Students have to pay INR 1300 at the time of admission and the rest have to pay in the due course. So on the vision to fees this course is very low costly course. Scholarships like SVMCM, Oasis, Kanyashree etc are available in this college. Students get help from teachers regarding this.

Campus life is very smooth because ragging is an offensive thing on this campus so our campus is likely a ragging-free campus. And the area of the campus is very huge. 2 academic buildings and 1 library building are on our campus. The library is modern and filled with very useful books but our librarian does not give books. Every year an annual sport is held.

There are 3 hostels on our college campus. 1. Satyen Bose Hostel 2. Mining Hostel 3. Bhagini Nivedita Girls Hostel All of the above hostels are huge and full of many rooms. But in SB hostel room quality and any other is not so good. College must attention to this hostel. In addition to that the meal quality in SB hostel is also not good but the Mining hostel is in good condition according to the meal. After admission to this college, a hostel form is published and students have to fill in this form to avail hostel facilities. In each room ned, table and electricity are present.
