MITS, the centre for relentless passion and excellence

Remarks :

For starters, we should register at the college website for admission at the time of the 12th result. Initially, the 12th results are considered for the admission to management quota. Later a rank list is created from which students are selected. This ensures that students of great potential are given preference. Later after the entrance results are published, admission to the merit quota is taken. A great entrance rank is a must. Considering the reputation and facilities, it's a great opportunity to get admission here. The fees are also affordable and students of merit are given scholarships. The admission process was smooth. The staff and admission cell are friendly and great. Overall great experience.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Electrical engineering is the fundamental discipline for every sector ranging from automobile to agriculture and has its importance in the technology sector. Thus I thought it would be a great opportunity. The faculty are great. They are friendly and offer complete support. The lectures are spot on without any delay. The student ratio is also great considering other institutions. The faculty are all MTech and Ph.D. holders. Thus are well experienced in their disciplines. The teaching methods are also effective and student-friendly. The exams are conducted timely with utmost discipline. The internals prepares the students for the university exam efficiently. The exam is designed in such a way that it's relatively easy but good preparation is required. Thus students who prepared well can easily pass the exams.

Internships Opportunities :

The college provides great internship opportunities for students. The college has its own research group called CIDRE where eligible students are given internship opportunities. Many companies are providing internships here such as HCL, IBM, etc.

Placement Experience :

From S6, interviews are conducted. The college has one of the best placement rates in the state. Many companies such as Amazon, TCS, cognizant, and Wipro conduct interviews and the placement results are great. The package starts from 5LPA to 13LPA depending upon the company. The previous batch had almost 450+ placement offers. I'm looking forward to getting a good placement at the college.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The cost to study is relatively affordable for the common folk. Scholarships are given to students which makes education affordable. The cost depends on the student's performance. If the student performs poorly, the fees are hiked. Also if the student's performance is great, the fees are lowered. This is for the management quota. The scholarship is provided based on entrance and 12th score. Financial assistance is also provided to worthy students. Internships are also provided for students.

Campus Life :

The college life here is great. Even though it's a bit of a strict environment, the college hosts events such as arts day, sports day, tech fest, and so on. The college has an exquisite library with a great collection of books. The classrooms are spacious and airy with digital assistance for faculty. Also, the college has free Wi-Fi for students. The college has many clubs such as IEEE, toastmasters, and so on. These bring exposure to the students. Overall great experience.

Interview Experience :

We had to attend an interview with the principal and higher authorities. This is purely for the character determination of the student and to get to know about the college and its facilities. The interview also boosted the confidence of the students and made it an exquisite experience.

Actually placement cell is a bit week the company's is not that reputed and they offer monthly salary of 12k to 15k. Probably some startup companies. And many students choose that and work for 1 or 2 years to gain experience and then they apply for better opportunities.

From the 3rd year onwards we could attend placement interviews and many companies used to approach our college but mostly IT companies as I was in civil dept the construction companies were very less or NIL. In our batch, most of the students got placed and many offer letters but the only disadvantage was the offers were not from the core companies.
