The selection process follows a comprehensive evaluation of the candidate through a Creative Aptitude Test and Personal Interview in order to ascertain his/her aptitude and suitability for the course.

The first 3 years will be at the WLCI campus. On completion of the2 years, the students get a Higher National Diploma in Fashion & Textiles from Edexcel. This helps students to transfer credits and pursue the final year of the Bachelor's degree program at a selected university in the UK.

The college has a highly active and effective placement cell that organizes seminars, pre-placement talk, and campus interviews apart from a variety of student-industry interactions. The students are provided individual counseling for better career planning.

The hostel facilities in the campus are good. It has all the needs of the students and has Wi-Fi as well. The infrastructure is good and well maintained. The students can enjoy the city of Kolkata during the weekends.
