Remarks

After Diploma in civil engineering I apply Through Cap Round so I get admission on a scholarship. Eligibilty 12th Science or Post matric Three years Diploma you get it admission. College Campus is very Happy, Large and the best in Pune city.

Course Curriculum Overview

I completed my diploma in civil in 2019 and for further education, I'm watching to BE so I search campus and campus placement in Pune. I get dypu nearest my home. Faculty are well educated they help you lot Exams are difficult but if you study hard you didn't worry about that.

Class Size: 55Course Fees: INR 73400 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In the open category, 60-75k are fees And OBC cast students pay Half of that But I'm Nomadic Tribe so can pay only 10-12k fees and apply for scholarships. My scholarship is Post matric scholarship VJNT The scheme is beneficial

Campus Life

Annual fest and Tech- throughout the year there are many functions on the college campus and you will enjoy it. Books - There are libraries in the college building so you don't worry about it Classrooms- the nature of the classroom as usual not very attractive but likeable

REAL INSIGHTS OF RIZVI COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING

Course Curriculum Overview:

As this college is under mumbai university so this college cannot modify syallbus in their own the have to strictly follow the university prescribe syallbus,academic timelines,rules and norms of the mumbai university. I have taken the admission in this college in the year 2024 from this year the NEP-2020 was adopted by the every indian universities and instituites. Since NEP-2020 was adopted also by mumbai university some new subjects are added to the syallabus that are oriented to financial literacy,Entreprenuianl,indian laws related subjects the syallubus of this subject is very good to see in the syallabus pdf. But the ground reality is different this subject is not given much importance by faculties the are treated as not much important subject as their are not related to our course as a result the students also take these subjects lightly.Also the professors appointed for this subjects are not much good they appoint the faculties who are recent graduates of their college who are working now as a professor in the same college. The college treat this subject lectures as an practice for the fresh faculties to gain experience of how to teach students. The core subject syallbus is same not changed the mumbai university has just changed the name of the subject. The college professors just teach the subject but they do not teach in that way that it makes us ready for real world problems.And also in the first year all the subjects are common for all the branches of the engineering which consist of subject like physics,chemistry,mechanics,Basic electrical Electronics,Engineering Graphics. It is my opinion why should an student who is studying an course called Computer Engineering so why should i read the subjects of the other branches like civil,mechanical,electrical and electronics in my first year instead of my domain subjects for whole two semester and the timespan of almost an year

The placements offered by my college are outstanding compared to other colleges in my area. Almost all students become eligible for campus placements in the 7th semester. Big tech companies like Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and IBM visit the campus for recruitment. Major tech companies such as TCS, Infosys, and Capgemini hire in bulk from this college. Placement Experience:

Placements of the college are good . They are incerasing year by year . As now college is made autonomous placement is also good in the college. Companies like TCS , CAPEGEMINI, like such big companies are also coming to college . as such college have developed the placement ratio . the higest package offered in the college was last year it was 18 lakhs . average pacakages offered in the college is betweeen 3 to 7 lakhs . but the students are geeting placed from college. Near about 70 to 80 percentage of the students are getting placed every year.

from 6th semester students get eligible for placemnets and from 4th semester students get eligible for internships. Dell, Oracle Tcs and many more such companies have visited the college The highest package is 50 lpa for MCA in computer science while the highest for B.TECH CSE is 44.14 lpa. Many good companies such as J.P. Morgan and Goldmann sachs have also come here for placements. The average package is 6lpa. Approximately from Computer science across 70 to 80 percent students are getting placed every year. After my B.tech Degree I would be pursuing my Masters degree from abroad.

After giving Gcet ( Goa common entrance test) I applied in 2 collages from which my admission was confirmed for bsc in st . Xavier's College in mapusa Goa. I was unable to get in engeneering collage in goa due to less score in Gcet . After giving JEE mains I applied in Dr dy Patil University for btech computer science and got selected for the course. since my relatives stays in nearby are I got some information about collage which made me choose this collage . All in all the college is average in terms of academics. But in the terms of sports, campus life, hostel quality sanitation it fares very well. Academics in the entc department is very encouraging and helpfuland induatry centered. They even have an incubation cell and entrepreneurship cell for the industry intercation with the students but is limited only to entc and comp. The admin department is very poor. The admin department has no value for the students time and seems to accomplish tasks at its own convinience. So the admin department doea not have my vote. If a student wants to make it big through this institute it is absolutely possible but will definitely have to hustle very hard for it....Read More
