Student must score at least 85-90% in board exam. Then he/she must clear JEE Exam to apply for admission. If a student wants to go for CS in LD, he/she must score above 120 as long as JEE main is concerned. If student is from open category, your ACPC(Admission Committee for Professional Courses) rank should be within 400-900.If student is from SEBC, then he/she needs a rank within 900-1600.If student is from SC,ST or other categories there is more advantage of getting admission in LD. LD College of Engineering is one of the best engineering colleges in Ahmedabad. It is also the cheapest engineering college in India with great and highly qualified faculties and it also has a very great environment with greenery surroundings. One main reason why I choose to study in LD is because of the quality education they provide. A total no of 252 faculty members and 6000 plus students are enrolled in LD. Mid sem exams are given in every mid of semester conducted by the college which is then followed by end-semester exams conducted by GTU(Gujarat Technological University). The level of both exam is moderate.

Tech fest like Lakshya, Gtu-tech fest is conducted annually in the month of April.Besides that other fun activities being conducted are mis-match day,traditional day, selfie day. The library consist of a large no of books varying in subjects like engineering,management,humanities,Architecture&Design,etc. The number of books encompasses 90,520. All the basic amenities are available in classroom. There are various facilities available for sports like badminton court, football ground, cricket ground, lawn tennis, table tennis, basketball court, volleyball. Also there are many social groups and clubs like NCC, NSS, Robocon and even startups are being formed by students.
