Remarks

To get admission, you have to clear the Entrance exam for IPU university. Based on the rank, the counselling process starts. The application form can be easily found on the IPU university's site. It is one of the best IPU colleges!

Course Curriculum Overview

The courses provided by our college are quite decent. Students are offered Bachelor's of technology in CSE, Civil engineering, Mechanical Engineering etc. The teachers are very supportive. They are a little bit strict but overall extremely sweet. The semester exams are a little bit difficult.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 130000 per year

Placement Experience

4.5

The placements are decent. Most of the CSE students get placed easily. The average package is around 5LPA and the highest package offered was by Microsoft for around 87LPA in 2022. The top recruiting companies are Tech Mahindra, TCS, Apple etc. The placement cell is also very supportive of the students.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is not that high. The fees for B.tech in CSE are around 1.3 LPA. The hostel fee is around 10k. Overall, the college fees and other fees are affordable as compared to other IPU colleges. It is worth it.

Campus Life

The campus life is good! The people here are very nice and friendly. Seniors are there to guide you at every step. The classrooms are quite spacious. We have many clubs for different activities like music club, drama club etc.

How Good B.Tech. from JAMIA MILLIA ISLAMIA is?

Likes

Here in Jamia the faculty is very experienced in their fields , they make you feel Engineering and not to just read books. there teaching methods are amog the top in the nation
the curriculum not just focus on your engineering but also focuses on your personality development.
the infrastructure itself gives you the feel of oldness and the reputation of the college.

Dislikes

one bad thing is its less availability of Hostel rooms .
there is a very strict rule of 75% attendance .

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

I like the infrastructure of my college. College have provided us AC rooms with clean washrooms. Qualified teachers. Maintained decorum. Most important it is a government college.
Smart classes are available in every room. Cantens are available.
There are many labs for every subject either it's of EE, ECE, CSE

Dislikes

New college so there are no societies or clubs.
Fees is too high for general category students.
No facilities of hostel available in our college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am an Electrical Engineering student. I chose this course because the demand for skilled Electrical Engineers is high leads to job security and also we can keep our options open for other fields by choosing this branch.

The Dream College Life

Likes

The campus is completely different from the whole city, it is more cleaner and is quiet peaceful with various different beautiful views at different points and is not too big so could easily walk through the campus.
Has really great architecture of the buildings and is surrounded by really intelligent people including some over the top profs and some really great minds from the country.
The night life is completely different and is one of the best part of staying in campus.

Dislikes

some of the hostels are quiet old and need renovation.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.

We applied in the admission procedure in IPU and provided a minimal fees for the process. After that, there were 3 rounds of selection in which we chose which college in IPU we need and which stream. Then the result of each round came and a student can choose whether to apply for next round or is satisfied with the seat gained in previous round.
