Course Curriculum Overview

The course is very good. It is all about medicine its preparation process and its mechanism in our body. Its classification. Different types of drug delivery systems. Different techniques. Faculties all are very helpful and frank. Practical classes are a very strong point in this college

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is quite reasonable other than any college. And all facilities are the same in comparison to other colleges. Many scholarships in West Bengal are available. Like konnyashree, west Bengal freeship, Swami Vivekananda. Job is only for marketing or sales candidate

Campus Life

We are the first batch of our college so that was difficult days. But now everything is shorted. Like many books, computer lab for student. Smart classrooms. Sports activities and college fest is very good

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are also good. The rooms are beautiful with attached bathrooms. Beautiful environment. But very very hot in summertime. Security is very very good. Hostel foods are like hostel foods but menu is decent.

Placement are not so good but I can confirm you that if you are good in studies then you will have a min package of 50LPA .Every pharma companies in india or out india contains our alumnis as well as you will get a polite and respectful behaviour in every company after knowing you r passed out from Iopj .

This is the oldest Pharmacy college in India

Remarks:

The college is a good college it is situated beside the district hospital and there is morgue beside it. So students will se many dead bodies been taken. This may be problem for weak heart students. But I thing for a pharmacists he/she should be able to see dead bodies.

Institute of Pharmacy, Jalpaiguri is the 1st Pharmacy college in Asia. This is the only one government college in West Bengal. Labs infrastructure is very poor. 100% Placement are done. Our college is very good Pharmacy college in India.
