Remarks

The college atmosphere is very nice for young minds. They could do better with the placement opportunities.

Entrance Preview

Appeared for Mat in which I secured 71. Applied for the exam online. Had to enter all my details and pay online. They provided me with am examination centre where I had to go and appear for the exam.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The college was under The Calicut University. And the course I took up was The Bachelors of Commerce. We had 6 semesters with 5-6 subjects per semester. The course was average. But now since the college has gotten the title of an atonomous college the courses have been upgraded.

Internships Opportunities

No. There was no internship provided by the college when I was a student studying there. But now since its an autonomous college, they might have better opportunities.

Placement Experience

0.5

Very poor. Atleast the 3 years I was in college I never heard of a very good placement opportunity at our college. Though there were a couple of companies that came, nothing extraordinary. I didn't get a chance to appear for the internship. They can provide better opportunities now since its an autonomous college affiliated to the university of calicut.

College Events

2.5

Our college was very active in organising various programmes and creating opportunities for students to portray their skills and talents in front of everyone beyond the classroom. They organsied various programs like arts day, cultural day, college day. Also celebrated many festivals like Onam amd Christmas.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very feasible. Since the college is a government college and is affiliated by the University of Calicut the fee structure was very affordable to everyone. We had to pay a total of rs. 7000 for each year in two installments. One during the beginning of the year and one mid of the year i.e before each semester. We also had separate fee for appearing for examination each semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

There were no loan facilities or scholarships provided by the college in particular. But there were scholarships provided by the university that was granted to students of our college, if qualified.

Campus Life

3.5

The campus life was very vibrant and energetic. The gender ratio is 40 -60 %. 40 % boys and 60% girls. A number of programmes and events were organised for extra curricular activities like sports and debates. Our college was always the first two in the Bzone fests.

Hostel Facilities

2

Average. I was a day scholer. But had a lot if friends from the college hostel. The hostel is situated in the college campus. The rooms are nice and clean. The facilities provided are pretty basic. Food was also nothing extraordinary. It was decent.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes. Very helpful. The alumni of the college are always in contact with the staff and teachers even now. Some even come to college now and then and give us a motivating class.

Exam Structure

Pretty decent. We had a three year course woth six semesters. Every sem we had about five to six subjects. In the course I took we didn't have any lab examinations but my batchmates from various other courses never complained of anu inconvenience caused during lab examinations.

Admission

Once the results of my 12th gradewas out, i had to wait for the college to start the admission process. They gave us a date of when they would start giving out forms. Once they gave the form i filled in the details and submitted it along with my 10th mark list and my 12th mark list and my transfer cerificate from my previous institution. I also had to provide my conduct certificate and a pgo to graph of mine. They selected the students on merit and gave us a call.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty and staff of the college are very friendly. They were all very qualified for their post and most of them were updated about things happening around us and tried their best to keep us informed about everything. They organised events and programmes for us which helped us in a lot of ways.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason for choosing the course is ,it is the better option for commerce students and the faculty ratio of students 60 ceats for b. Com students and covering the ratio. And the qualification is rank wise both students and teachers . Teachers methods are good. Exams are conducting after finishing semesters and it's continuesly done clearly. Our university is realy making questions difficult and it obviously difficult to pass.
