That time the labs are not equipped , every time we used to visit textile mills in and around davangere, rest other things are okay. College management is co operative, they have done what possible .

No entrance in the 1983, direct admission on donation.Since that time there are so many Textile industries in around Davangere , selected B.Tech( Textiles) course, which was newly introduced.

No, since our College is private and we got admission on Donation , there was No scope of any internship and stipend.

our is 40 member batch, around 25 were placed from Campus interviews, Minerva Mills , Bengaluru, Raymonds, Vimal, and Gokak Mills, Co optex, Bombay dying, Siyaram and so many other companies , some companies at Chennai , the details of them i am not remebering right now.

Davan is cultural event were sports and cultural programs are conducted were all colleges of Mysore university were going to participate in this event. this is 3 day event were sports and cultural programs were conducted at the end of even semester. And it is very big event and participation is most important.

Since we are on Management quota, that time fees are very feasible, and things are very cheaper, even transportation is also very cheaper , over all those days are not of much costly like today. Even of management seats , we used to stay at our community hostels the accommodation is food charges are very cheap.

No good scholarship / loan facility offered by our college , since some Banks like State Bank India are offering Education loan were colleges fees and some books bills were paid and entire loan amount will be paid once we got the jobs.But for this also we have to make lot of efforts and with very difficulty we will get the student loan.

Campus life was hectic, we will get very less time for parties, outing, and other things , since semester system is having very tight schedules. w.r.t gender ratio , there is No female students for Textiles branch.And because of tight academic schedules we are getting very less time for extra curricular activities. Labs are our academic requirement, we have to spent maximum available time in Labs, factory visit. This hold good for sports and other cultural activities. Tolerance with regards to gender, ethnicity, race, sexual orientation. With respect to politics , Davangere is that time in the strong hold of CPI, where leader like Pampapati were made land mark jobs , but the impact of this on student community is less. Every one is behind getting course completed and getting good job and settle in life , least bothered about politics and economic status.

Since we are staying at own community hostels , where the Davangere is the distinction of having all community hostels were accommodation is very cheap and mess food was good and run by the hostel mates on rolling bases , were every one has run the mess. it was totally joyful experience where you can have the experience of running community mess.

Experience with senior are ok, ok, there is always fear getting ragged by Seniors, since the idea of alumni are recent developments , i am not able to give any comments . Getting all old students in one roof and getting done of any type activities is not so practical now days , i don think so, it is like jathra.

Ours is on semester system , 6 months one semester, 4 months college of one semester , 6 theory and 6 labs , it was very hectic, Starting of 4 weeks start with 1 st internal Exam, 8 weeks 2nd 2nd internal, at 12 week 3rd internal, as soon as 12 week completes , Semester Exam dates will be announced, and all are busy in getting internal exam marks of min 15, if not so get additional assignment and try to get min marks, and 80 % attendance is compulsory, by finishing this practical exams will be announced , once it is over, theory exams will be started. it is full of activity and No time to fun and frolic

Father had some local good contacts of peoples who are the members of Bapuji Education Society of Davangere, and with their help , i had easily got the Seat and get the admission. And the administration was very co operative. and admission process was very smooth and hassle free.

Faculty was too good , well qualified and trained and very much interested in teaching.During practical session every student will be taken care , and especially Mill visits are very knowledgeable. We used to get more information when ever we visited the Textile Mills.
