Remarks

The admission process was through the kcet counselling process. First, they will release the cut off and based on that we should make an alist and apply for the college based on our preference. The eligibility of the course is you must have cleared 12 with minimum marks. The different reservation cut-offs are also available based on cast and there are also rural and Hyderabad Karnataka Kota in Kota available those who have finally weaker, must provide income certificates and for rural and cast they must provide required documents. Much improvement must be done as they keep delaying the counselling process and also there are fewer no. Centres for document verifications and the kea head office in Bangalore do not give proper information in collecting our given documents.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

This course is completely related to the IT sector as I enjoy coding and developing new software I have chosen this course based on my interest. The faculty in the college is good, but sometimes they go related to academics rather than teaching skills which are required for future and the student ration are almost equal but varies according to branch in our branch they take 40 intakes but the cs has around 120 intakes and mech and civil and ec has more intake around 180 including lateral entry. There are well-qualified faculty and most of them completed their Ph.D. and made research and have a great experience the teaching method is quite good they teach us and provide necessary materials and douts can also be clarified as they are friendly. The Three internals are conducted and best of two is taken and the 40 marks are allotted for Experiential learning and other 60 marks are by internals and quiz and the sem exams are conducted and an average of both internals and sem are taken to CGPA

Internships Opportunities

3.5

At the end of the 2 sem holidays, we are supposed to do the compulsory internship, and based on that we also get pre-placement offers. different internship programs are also sent by the college. Different companies like Morgan, Amazon, Benz, etc come for on-campus placements. As am in first I don't have a proper idea of the projects and the outcomes of different projects that will be offered by the college and also inform us about the project available. We can also participate in the research. With the faculty based on our interest.

Placement Experience

3.5

Nearly 90 percent of students get placed then some students prefer higher studies. most of them get placed In the IT sector and some of the go for core companies. The students from the third year itself start getting placed as pre-placement offers are also provided and the highest LPA is around 45 lakh for 2 or 3 people from the CS branch and 35 LPA for IS for 4 to 5 students and core branch people get around max up to 15 LPA. The average LPA for the circuit branch is around 15 LPA and for the core is around 7LPA. The minimum GPA of around 8+ and there must no backlogs and they must clear all the subjects. After getting placed I would prefer to work for and gain experience and shift the companies based on my interests and financial sector.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure varies based on your admission mode the kit fees are around 1 lakh and the comedy is 2 lack. The different scholarships are available but they don't allow us to apply for all of them. The scholarship department in our college is bad as they allow us only one scholarship and do not properly coordinate with us. The campus placement is quite good as most of them get placed but some of the have higher studies. In the circuital branch, most of them get dream jobs but some of the core branches get around 8 Lpa, whereas the circuital branches get an average of around 12 LPA. The pre-placement offers are also provided based on the internship in the third year of College

Campus Life

3.5

Due to the pandemics, the fest has been reduced are they are rushing more related to academics. There are around 18 clubs some of the clubs are more active and have made notable achievements in different events The feet will be conducted in the alternate years of the college. Different roles will be assigned and we get a great opportunity to manage events and gain a good experience and make great memories. They are plenty of books and research papers they have given access to online books also so there is a great opportunity for a reader in this college. As the campus was constructed long ago so the infrastructure is old but they are good and lots of demolishment are made. Before there were three grounds but now there is only one as the construction work in progress they provide a great opportunity for sports, but from recent time sports complex has been put for demolishment and other cultures activities are good and provide a great opportunity in the different events.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel facility is good to some extent as this hostel was constructed long ago but they are planning to reconstruct it. There are separate hostels for the first year there are three hostels the first year separate and second and third year together and the fourth year separate. They are 2 sockets and cupboard and common bathroom and 2 sharing rooms. The mess has only veg facilities the meals are good and but the menu remains the same and month-end there will some special in mess. Morning the mess will be available from 7.30 to 9 am And evening also same timing and evening snacks are provided and coffee and tea also available. The registration for the hostel is during the admission process first come first serve and the hostel fees are around 1.2 lakh including mess food. There are also many pg available nearby and look for that also and also there is a good metro facility for the students.

Placement Experience:

Student generally become aligible for campus drives from the 7th semester or 5th semester. To sit for the best companies you usually need no active backlogs and a minimum CGPA of 7.0 or above. Some top-tier companies strictly ask for 80% throughout.SRMU sees a mix of MASS RECRUITERS AND CORE companies like AMAZON, IBM, TCS, WIPRO, CAPGEMINI, ADANI GROUP, HCL AND COGNIZANT are regulars. We also see companies like SAP AND TATA STEEL for specific roles. Here AVARAGE PACKAGE is around 4.5 LPA TO 5 LPA and HIGHEST PACKAGE 30 LPA. Percentage for getting placement is 80% to 90%.My plans after getting degree is to secure a placment in a CMM level 5 company like TCS or ACCENTURE through a company drive to get that initial brand name on my resume.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since i am pursuing civil engineering, the curriculum covers all core civil engineering subjects such as. • Engineering Mathematics, strength of materials, structural analysis, geotechnical engineering, Transportation engineering , environmental engineering.. The course prepares us for higher education and government examination but real world exposure is limited like site visits and practical trainings are few and not well planned. Mot students aim for cracking government services.. Areas of improvement could be syllabus to include latest construction practice, to increase industry oriented projects, more industrial visits, modernizing the lab and newer teaching methods.. The exams are conducted twice each semester one mid semester and one end semester, exam levels are Moderate and questions are generally theory based, students who follow class notes and previous year question paper and easily clear the examinations...
