Course Curriculum Overview

Jims has well structured course curriculum. Curriculum Consists of most of important subjects which are required in btech aiml . Campus conducts two mid term exam and 1 end term in a semester. Exams are very difficult. Many students get failed.

Internships Opportunities

Jims has internship opportunities through placements. Jims hosts many companies for placements like Infosys, wipro , amazon, HCL etc . Many students had secured the positions in different roles. Projects helps in enhancing practical knowledge and improves technical skills

Placement Experience

Jims has placements opportunities that is why i have choosen it. Students are available for placements from the pre-final year. The average package is about 7 LPA. Around 60-70% students get placed. After completing the degree , i wanna enhance my skills.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure of the course is divided yearly and can be affordable. The total fees of my course is ?752400. In first year, i have paid ?188100which include registration fee,lab fees and the other compulsory charges during the completion of course.

Campus Life

Campus life is quite nice. Campus conducts cultural fests on some festivals only. Library has wide range of books and is well organised. Classrooms has basic technological equipments. Campus provides limited sports facilities.

Admission

I choose this college because it has good placements. For the eligibility, it requires 10+2 classes and jee exam . Jims has systematic admission process. I had also choosen other colleges through the jee exam but it had higher cutoffs so not able to go there

Faculty

Faculty of jims are very strict, experienced and disciplined. Some faculty explain concept of topic very deeply.but some faculty does not explain concept and reads only the presentation. Exams are very difficult.

Night Life

Nighlife of campus is quite good and peaceful. Jims has no gyms. It has a very small cafeteria. It has a well structured library. Jims has safe , peaceful and quite good locality to roam around at night

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since curriculum was given by AKTU itself, colleges only has the power to choose elective subjects- Few subjects were my fav and helped me alot in lot's of different scenerios - like EDC,Network Theory and ofc VLSI Design was my fav. For ECE students - university shd mandate Satellite communication and VLSI Technology a compulsory as it's a kind of core subjects and in every PSU as well as govt exams , questions from this subject always been asked by authorities. More faculties staff's are required.

"Disciplined environment for serious students"

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum provide better understanding of the the concept mentioned. Also it is very helpful for competitive exams like gate. The Full course is highly recommended for mechanical engineering. The only thing is that, they are skipping some important topics which was very helpful for students.

Placement Experience:

After 7th sem for b.tech student and 5th sem for diploma student is ready for campus placement. The company is visited in my collage is Mahindra, Infosis, Tata, Maruti Suzuki , TCS ,Gallent.Their are near about 80% students are placed. After getting the degree I want to become a successful Mechanical Engineer.

Placement Experience:

Taking about campous placement of my college so this is not so good like it is almost negligibe . If you want job then you have to fimd it by yourself and you have to apply by yourself to company. sometimes few prof. will help you to apply for some companies but most of the times you have to do it by yourself only. As in other colleges you will be elegible for internships from 2nd year is also the same thing you can start your internship when ever you get it. Almost no company visit here for placement but some time few companies come here for ME and Civil deparment students .the placement percentage is approx 35 to 40 percent. My plans after getting degre is to go for higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are there in the college, in which the average package goes to be 3-4lpa and max that goes till now is 27lpa. From 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements. There are many companies that have visited like mahindra, TCS, infosys etc.
