Course Curriculum Overview
The course I am pursuing is btech CSE (AI/ML). I chose the course because I was always find programming very amusing with artificial intelligence and machines. The college provides a very near perfect labs with practical knowledge and experienced teachers. I don't think there needs to be any improvement in the course curriculum and teaching methods as everything is perfect. The exams happens thrice in a single semester which includes 2 mid sems exam and one final sem exam which is not that difficult if you catch up with the lectures and notes.
Internships Opportunities
The students can apply for interships from the 4th semester. The top recruitets for interns are wipro, TCL, HCL and various Noida-based startups. Stipends usually range from 5000/- to 15000/- per month. College provides on-campus internships drives. The interships usually last for 6 to 8 weeks during the summer breaks.
Placement Experience
The college provides a good placement with students getting eligible in btech to get campus placement 7th semester and for bca the campus placement for bca 5th semester. Internships usually begin from the 4th semester. The placement rate is highly consistent ranging from 85% to 90% getting campus placement and rest getting off-campus placements
Fees and Financial Aid
This college is affiliated to IPU. So the fees for every btech course is the same. For the first year the fees is around 196000/- rupees. And the fir the rest of the second, third and fourth year the fees drops to 186000/- approx. The registration fees is given through the ipu counselling website which is around 2000/-. The hostel fees is 140000/- (non-ac) to 150000/- approx. If there will be any new changes to fees you can visit the website of JEMTEC and can visit the college for confirmation.
Campus Life
There are a large number of clubs with are very fun and cover all the students interests. Hackathons are also organised by the college with technical clubs in the college which anyone can join. The crowd is very good and friendly. The extra curricular activities and sports is the most fun part to me and is taken very seriously by the college. A student will never get bored as it's very happening.
Admission
I applied in the IPU counselling where we have to make the preference list adding the courses with colleges you are interested in and the college where you can apply to will according to your jee percentile. I also admission in du but the course it gave was in bsc physics. But I was not interested in that course. So always take the course you have a interest.
Faculty
The faculty is very thoughtful and managed with experienced teachers and they are very helpful in clearing doubts and very supportive to students. You will sometimes find yourself in a burden of submitting assignments but that's not a big deal. In 1 semester there are 2 midsems and one final semester exam. The exam are not very difficult because of the well driven notes and lectures if you attend everything properly.
Night Life
The cafeteria is the best place for student hangouts. The hostel also has a gym and a well managed mess and rooms with proper hygiene. The college have a lot of selfie points and college have a lot of places to roam and walk.
