Remarks

We need to score more than 70 percent in higher secondary to get admission here. The application form will get from the college store and from the office. Reservation is there for students with caste benefits. The admission process is good and behavior of non-teaching staffs are also good.

Course Curriculum Overview

I like to study more about plants that's why I had selected this college. Teaching is also good and if you attend the class it is a must prepare your own rough notes because all we know is it is college and only limited time is there so teachers can't give notes in every portion but some teachers try their best to provide notes. Now let's tell about exams this college is under Kerala university and they will not provide proper time for exams. We know the semester exams are done in 6 months intervals but here it's not accurate.

Fees and Financial Aid

The maximum cost for a year is 3500 rupees but if you have grants then you need not to pay the fees so that's a positive thing. One thing is that studying science subjects are too costly. Because you need to prepare a record you need to do many assignments and also you need to pay lab fees then projects so studying science subjects are too costly (my opinion).

Campus Life

Many programs are done in this college but we lost our 1 year due to covid. Mostly there will be programs in college in an interval of two months but the programs are not too big. The classroom is very neat and clean also it will be based on the behavior of students. Now let's talk about libraries it is the calm place you can find in the college take a book and spend your time there. Now in sports, the main item is basketball students have other facilities there to prepare for cricket and football. Clubs are also there in college also other groups like NCC and NSS are also there.

Why you should/shouldn't join LISSAH

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course to help others.social service was the main motive. I'm now persuing post graduation because i got best classes from best teachers. Real world applications are that i can be a good psychologist. The exams are gaped 6 months. Difficulty depends on the teachers who prepare the exam papers. But mainly it is syllabus based.
