Remarks

The admission process is so easy, They ask us for all our certificates for higher studies and they check whether we are eligible or not. The application form fee is 500 Rs Good communication with us

Course Curriculum Overview

I like to work in the automobile industry, so I choose mechanical engineering and there are too many job opportunities in future, All teachers are good. Best classes. Exams are not easy but if we study well it's easy to pass

Our college mainly concentrated on internship opportunities. That is internship opportunities are available. 3 -7 day internship classes are also provided from outside of Kerala. They introduce many new systems

Our college provides placements, For that, A placement cell is working. Need to clear all back papers before the s8 semester. They are eligible for placements and other placements are also available but more preference for full pass students. many companies come for it tata, Toyota, bajaj, etc

Fees and Financial Aid

There are too many scholarships Mainly caste scholarships, then if you have full A+ in 12 they cut tuition fees, it's too helpful. Many job opportunities they will introduce so its good Normal 1 year fees is 50000 in that 50K, 10K they will return after we complete the course. If you are LET student you can skip 1st year.

Campus Life

Annual fests and tech fests are too good. I never had these kinds of tech fests. The auto show is also good. The arts name "SAAYA" and tech fest name "AUTOSHOW" both are awesome The library facility is also good, all kinds of books and all types of newspapers are available Well cleaned classrooms Our college is also focused on sports They have college football, volleyball, basketball, and cricket teams Now days we are conducting football matches in class

Hostel Facilities

Best hostel facility available, Good rooms and hostel fee is affordable, Worth for money Meal quality is average because there are too many students they need to consider but every Wednesday night biriyani is available. Hostel registration so simple staffs can help for it.

Hostel Fee: INR 5000 per year

IIIT KOTTAYAM - a Honest review

Placement Experience:

As seniors said the average package is around 10lpa.If you have descent skills and above 8 cgpa you will get this average package. If you upskill yourself with effort which many students do here then you can also get above 15lpa which many seniors got.The highest package was off-campus by an ECE Student in Google despite having cgpa around 6.He had very good skills as a full stack developer.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

The length of course curriculum is very short. It is very difficult for both students and teachers to complete the syllabus in limited time period.The exam timing are also very conjusted and students are facing many difficulties because of it .

IIST - A good campus to live but with high restrictions.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is there in the campus.A lot of companies visit to the campus. From this year more private companies are visiting because of the breaking of bond with ISRO due to which students are getting good package.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.
